I don't trust any of their produce. I had a worker tell me he wouldn't recommend me purchase a certain meant and then leave it on the shelf. It's a terrible managed store. Corporate needs to get on their sh!t

I would like to add that I don't ever give reviews unless they're good but this place really needs a different kind of review.... To start, they only ever have 1 checkout lane open plus the customer service desk. This location gets pretty busy and even if a second checkout lane opens, the checkout lines are long enough to reach halfway down the store. Second of all, there's so many crackheads that just hangout outside the doors of this store every single day that I'm convinced they all sleep there. I've honestly watched them do a drug deal. Third of all, I would like to mention that if you ever come here to buy strawberries, just don't. Every container of strawberries always contains mold. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by purchasing a container that I don't see mold in and my entire container of strawberries will be entirely covered in mold by the next day (This JUST happened to me). Also, the baggers will put your raw meat at the bottom of a grocery bag and put everything on top of it. If you don't like your meat squished or leaking, don't buy any here. I will add that I do come from a nicer area so my standards are pretty high but even in a bad area, I expect this place to be better. I would love to give this place another chance when the crackheads leave.

This store is very close to home so it's my base store when I often just need a few things (and you know how that goes!) No, it's not good. I mostly ignore the store anymore and zoom in on what I need. Some of the employees are helpful, some are pretty sour, that's true. My best friend has worked there 5 years now so I can tell you that their pay scale is awful and very little a worker can do to advance. As to produce, I recently bought a bag of oranges that in 1 day turned mushy brown. and then a grapefruit that cost plenty at $1.50, turned out to be old and dry inside. No, not a good store.

Don't know what's wrong with the workers there everyone always looks upset or angry and they always seem to never help with western union "they don't have numbers to the computer" which is confusing because working there I'm sure they do. Today I was in there in the lotto station and a girl worker from subway was there and I heard her tell the young women if she doesn't get someone to do her western union she's calling corporate which I'm glad she said that because I was going to do the same! The workers seem just lazy and when they help they look upset like if you're a bother. The young woman got a manager to do western union for the lady in front of me and then afterwards the worker yelled in front of the manager "thanks for bringing drama to the store" which I thought was so unprofessional!!! I was applaud! And the manager an older blonde hair women didn't say anything to her worker!! They lost my business. I will never go there again! They need to be professional!! The workers name was Jessica! She needs to be talked to because I felt so uncomfortable and I'm sure the young lady she yelled that to felt embarrassed and disrespected

Winn Dixie don't have the best reputations for grocery stores. They need to be a bit cleaner, carry more stock, have baggers that help you to your car & help in many areas. I check their weekly sales, occasionally buy BOGOs & sale items. This is not the chain of store to buy your everyday staples....too expensive & poor selection. There meat can be good, but it is not a constant. This particular location has the slowest store deli, I believe I have ever encountered. I totally believe in equal opportunity employment, but I also believe if one is hired for a job, they should be able to perform all required duties of that job. This store is undoubtedly an equal opportunity employer. Many positions are held by senior citizens. After a long day I seperate my groceries into perishables and non perishables. This way when I get home, if necessary I can only grab the perishables. The problem is at check out, none of the baggers ask to assist you to your vehicle with your groceries. Personally I just feel bad, no matter how tired I am, asking someone 20 years by senior to assist with groceries. That means definately no shopping after work or at nights. What's a girl to do? Shop somewhere where you can get assistance with groceries to your car, when paying the big bucks.

I'm vegan, so right away I have a look at their produce section. Well stocked and kept clean. This is important cause I'd walk out if I thought the section was poorly managed. That being said I'll be interested to see how they keep up with the change in sessions. They do have an organic section, I'd like to see more here. I'd really like it if they offer vegans more options. The rest of the supermarket is also well stocked. Many of the employees worked there before Sweetbay became Winn-Dixie, so everyone is pretty friendly. Winn-Dixie is a little pricey and some might find listed prices confusing. You have to make sure you read the sticker price or you might get stuck paying more at the register. The best advice here is get their Winn-Dixie card and have it with you every time you go shopping.
