Chris took the entire payment from my 81 year old mother without completing job. Never came back. Wanted to be paid even earlier. Had to hire someone to complete job. He works out of a car and doesn't even give a proper receipt. He will tell you price has a 5 year warranty and you will never see him again. He came and did the work changed all the sprinklers did a great job. A year later he had to change the manifold that controls all the sprinklers started late and was here till it got dark.He charged me a ton of money then said I had a five year warranty two months later my sprinkler head broke and he hasn’t come back yet and I texted him and called him still no-show?? he must be very busy doing what I don’t know still waiting⏳ I should’ve read the reviews of a lot of these one ⭐️ ratings so it’s my fault for not researching.Service: Irrigation system repair & maintenance

I rarely write reviews. Please stay away from Chris and this company. Talked me into a new sprinkler system. I paid a lot of money and have had issues with it since. He never came back nor answered his texts or phone calls. I believe it's a scam of a company. Only used him due to one good review. Which now looking back, he probably wrote himself. Very dishonest.

Very hard to get in touch with Chris Thoms. He started work before giving me a detailed invoice, as he said that he would. He wanted to be paid $200 cash for about 30 minutes of his time. Chris Thoms then said that he ran out of invoices in his van. Since I really needed a receipt for reimbursement purposes, I have contacted him by voice mail and text no less than 9 times. Chris keeps responding to my texts by saying that he will give me a receipt "tomorrow". It has been over a month and I still have not been given the receipt. He is dishonest. Chris definitely knows how to fix sprinkler systems. He came in and repaired all the issues. However everything went downhill from there. I have only been able to use my sprinkler system 1 time in 3 weeks due to an adjustment that needs to be done on a valve that should take NO TIME TO FIX. I have called and texted everyday for the past 2 weeks. Chris would promise me to be there almost every day by either calling or texted messages. He has yet to show up. Never calling to tell me that he wouldn't show. I read other reviews of the same issue but, thought that they were just unhappy. Well here we are, my lawn is dying and no Chris. I still haven't got an invoice from him that he promised the day he finished the job. I also made the mistake of writing the check to him personally and not to the company. Which he took directly to the bank to cash. It is too bad that he conducts business that way. I trusted him to do what is right. He is good at what he does. Now I have to go find another company to fix the issue that he could just take a little time out of his day to fix. DON'T GET STUCK LIKE ME!!!!!!Follow up to Chris’ reply. I am not sure that his reply has anything to do with my situation. Chris finally showed up to fix the issue. He was at my house for a total of five minutes.

Owner Chris Thoms came out to repair my sprinkler system. After telling me that he would write up an itemized receipt, he started to repair system without providing receipt. He then wanted cash. Chris said that he would email the receipt because he didn't have anymore invoices in his van. After more than a month and several text messages of him assuring me that he would send the receipt, still nothing. He is basically a dishonest person.

I recently had a leak in a sprinkler head. I called Chris who came out within hours, not days. He knew right away that it wasn't the sprinkler head but a valve leak and had it fixed within 30 minutes. Reasonable prices and got the job done.

Chris did quality work at an affordable time. After initial install, he may take a little while to get back to you to readjust the sprinklers but show a little patience and he will take care of things. I'd hire him again.

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to write one for Chris from United Sprinkler, Inc. I called United Sprinkler for two good reasons. 1) Their reviews (with very rare exception) were rated positively fantastic. 2) They were the only company out of the eight companies I called to offer a "no-obligation free estimate" upon arrival. Initially, I described my sprinkler problem thoroughly to all the companies I called to get a basic "over the phone" estimate of what it might cost for the repair. Primarily, every company told me that my antiquated sprinkler valve will have to be replaced. That expense would include new valves and 3-4 hours of labor, if all goes well. Boy was I surprised when Chris the owner of United Sprinkler came out the next day and told me that my sprinkler valve problem was not as big or costly of a job as all the other sprinkler companies I called told me it would be. Chris told me that it was only a defective solenoid valve which he then replaced within minutes and charged a very reasonable price to do. .. almost too good to be true. Furthermore, Chris and his helper spent the rest of the hour checking out all my sprinkler heads and replacing or correcting each one as necessary. Chris was reliable, affordable, amiable, honest and absolutely a blessing in disguise. If anybody I know ever needs a fabulous and honest sprinkler company it would be my pleasure to recommend Chris and United Sprinkler.

I would never use this company again. They got 1 star because they did a good job when they replaced several sprinkler heads and reset my system. After that I had 2 heads fall off (within 60 days of the $300 charge) and called 4 different times to ask them to come and fix them right. Chris kept setting up times they would come and never did! There are to many other companies I would not recommend at all.

I would put zero stars if I could. You call them for one small thing and end up with constantly calling them back until your bill is over $1000...big scam artist!
