Been a customer for over a year, and recently took my Corvette through Tommy's Car wash. The wash unexpectedly stopped due to a vehicle behind me, right as I was approaching the tire/rim scrub. When the wash restarted the rollers caught the front clip snapping it completely off. The attendant was very apologetic and understanding. Unfortunately "Corporate" feels that due to the vehicle having an "aftermarket" front splitter... (bought the vehicle from the dealership with the ZO6 appearance package) they feel they are not liable. I've taken this vehicle through this wash 40+ times with zero issues. Your equipment failed, and you've failed to rectify the situation. Beware, and judging by the other reviews I'm not alone.....

My volks wagon cc was completely and utterly destroyed by Tommy's express car wash. They have refused to take any responsibility for it and the manager is condescending, every thing that came out of my mouth she refuted saying I was wrong even though I clean my car top to bottom twice a week and know what it looks like before it goes through the machines. I'm a young severely injured man I don't have time for this stupidity I can't pay for there mistakes I've suffered at the hands of other peoples mistakes to often and I won't let this one go. If my car is not fully repainted I will be contacting my lawyer along with whoever and whatever it takes to show the general public why Tommy's express has such a tarnishing reputation and why this specific location especially should be shut down. Please train your employees with respect along with cleaning the brushes more. Please contact my email at

This is the extension of my review and my response, how can you act like there isn't 50 reviews stating that there car was also destroyed and you guys did absolutely nothing but to dismiss the fact. I only went to vulgarity once I was blatantly dismissed please reach out to me before the end of today. If Tommy express does not settle this issue with me I will be speaking with my lawyers and filling suit against this location. You are all unprofessional, dismissive, and over all condescending. Before this issue has to be escalated any more then it has please have the actual business owner reach out to me my number should be on file.

The management is friendly and I love supporting a veteran-owned business in my neighborhood. Tommy's Express just opened a second location in Spring Hill on 50 but this review is for the one I have been using for four years, on Mariner by Northcliffe. I have a monthly membership for two vehicles, with the veteran discount. It is auto-drafted so I can just drive up and go through. I don't generally use the vacuum station section, but I have in the past. Pros: quick, convenient, and I can go as much as I need to, without extra cost, especially during love bug season. Also, there are locations elsewhere if I'm traveling. I've also used the one in Hudson on 19 but only a couple of times. Cons: lately, the soap doesn't clear off the back windshield at the end of the wash. I thought at first it had something to do with having a different size and shape vehicle, or how fast I go through. But I've seen other people comment about this, so I'm going to bring it up next time I go through. Also, the Halloween display is really gross and morbid. A body hanging upside down, blood, blood handprints that look child-sized. Am grossed out and I avoid the car wash during that time period. I know of one child that was absolutely frightened. Would ask that they reconsider this display, as it is unavoidable for us regular customers during that time period. Those two things are the only factors that bring a five-star experience down to a four. Overall, a great car wash experience.

We have the best package and we love it. Our car looks amazing and for the money we would not be able to find another service any better. We have never had any trouble with the vacuums or any other service. The price is affordable and we will continue with Tommys Car Wash. We are from Newport Richey, not sure why it says California.

It is currently 7:55 PM. The car wash says it closes at nine on Wednesdays. The place is completely closed Other with the fact that the pressure washer don't work and the tunnel malfunctions frequently and the vacuums never work properly because they are not cleaned out if you are expected to pay $35 a month for the service I have everything should be in working order would completely not recommend horrible place

Great car wash! Only issue I have is some of the vacuums have poor section. So it's hit or miss when vacuuming your car.

I lived in New Port Richey, Largo, and Tampa while I've had my membership and I honestly just now realized how dissatisfied I am with it, instead of letting people go and unlimited amount of times per day, you should be using that extra money for operation to fix your vacuums. Not only does ANY car wash in history ever really do a good job of cleaning the outside of your car, but the free vacuums are nothing special if they barely work.

Vacuums never work like they are supposed to. When your car comes out of the car wash you still see dirt on your car. They don't have rags and window cleaner like the other car washes in town

Don’t waste your time or money at this car wash. My car is left dirty and the vacuums suction power it doesn’t. Take your business to title wave car wash. Staff is amazing Giving pre-wash cleaning in extra dirty locations and vacuums have suction.

Not impressed. Car came out with water spots all over and still dirty in places (notably the rear). Products to clean the interior cost $3 for the "kit," while they're free at other places. For a $20 car wash, this is unacceptable. Hey, at least the vacuums are "free." What a joke.
