Our sun has been going to the school for about two years now.If I can say one thing about the facility and the staff is that they honestly truly do care about what they do. They're passionate they learn every child in the facility they know every child by name. They treat them all with the proper love. Compassion and education that is needed.I honestly feel like the day. Miss mary ann retires is the day that the daycare system loses another great educator, We really do love the 1 on 1 conversations we get to have with them and how they make everything feel with the extra personal touch. And just the information they're able to provide us about our son.Do yourself a favor check the school out, give them a try. It's affordable compared to other schools in the area and the extra care, and attention is very much appreciated

My son is 6 and has been with Solid Steps for over a year now. Love the owner and the staff. All friendly and welcoming and they care about the safety and well-being of your child. I know when I drop my son off, he is safe in their care. The owner is always on top of making sure things are in order and taking care of the place. You can tell she cares about the kids and what she does.

I have a four year old that goes here and she loves it. She never went to daycare before coming here a few months ago. Ever since she started we’ve had a good experience with the staff and arrangements. I feel like she’s getting a good education and building social skills.

Please protect your children and do not put them in this daycare. My son has been DROPPED by a daycare employee. My children have come home numerous times with completely full lunch boxes, on November 3rd, 2021 my child was life-flighted because this daycare failed to call 911 after my son mysteriously had a head injury that was caught OFF CAMERA. He went unconscious and no teacher felt like this was worth mentioning. Even after the number of times my child has come home with a scrape, bite or mark caused by another child I never felt the need to make a complaint due to the fact that they are just babies, curious babies at that. My child LEARNED to bite from this daycare, its to be expected. Even though he has bit less than the amount of times it has happened to him the lousy know-nothing daycare director will not hesitate to kick you out. Poorly trained staff and daycare director. It’s no wonder they are ALWAYS under review by DCF. Michelle and Marie are the only people I looked forward to when sending my children there. They are the BEST teachers and I wonder why they are stuck at such a terrible school.

Lets start off strong with the first time my child (who just turned a year old) was outside and hit his head. Teachers did not call 911 or bring him to the hospital right next door. But little to know my child was concussed and had to be bay flighted when his mother arrived. Also, all the times my baby has came home with bite marks and i didn't complain due to them just being babys and teething. Every day my 2 boys come in the car and feast on their barley touched lunch boxes. Never again will i trust that daycare with the life of my babys. 0/10 do not recommend. If your paying cheap because the state helps you pay for day care. You get what you pay for but i do not recommend leaving your kids lifes in the hands of these untrained teachers.

I am BEYOND angry!Tell my why I drop my son off at school around 8:30/9:00am and usually pick him up around 4/5pm. He is FULLY potty trained mind you he ONLY wears a pull up at bed time & on the way to school because his school is about an hour away. At home, I use Mickey Mouse pull ups. For school, I send parents choice paw patrol pull ups which are ONLY MEANT to be used for nap & for the car ride home. I do that for a reason. Today, I sent FOUR pairs of under wear & 2 back up pairs of pants (which is MORE than enough because he doesn’t have accidents at all anymore. When I picked him up I notice he’s wearing the same pull up I sent him in??? So I check it thinking maybe it’s dry you know? NOPE! Sagging down to my baby knees!!! I had to change him right in the schools parking lot. He wore underwear in the car and guess what??? He stayed dry too the whole way home. Every day I say something, I’ll tell her there’s underwear in the bag and extra pants and they’re never used !!! I called her after picking him up from school and the conversation was cut short (SHE LEGIT TOLD ME SOMEONE ELSE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE SAME THING…) she handled it very unprofessionally, don’t bring your children here, you will be disappointed.

An excellent place for your child. Our daughter is going here for the last month now, both parents and baby loves the open arms of Ms. MaryAnn and other teachers in the morning. Very detail oriented and caring teachers, the facility is top notch, few students per class only, and the classrooms are well stocked with toys. They are right next to the hospital so we can drop our child on our way. Our daughter is very happy here and so are we.Today one child was a little under the weather and Ms. MaryAnn had them in her office hugged tightly for an extra bit of TLC, sign of a very kind human.Thank you Ms. MaryAnn for running a tight ship.

Probably one of the best daycares in town. Mrs. Maryanne runs this very well. Very clean. Staff are amazing!

If you're looking for a daycare facility, I would highly suggest Solid Step Learning Center. My son just finished his year of the VPK Program, Mrs. Nora's classroom. He had a wonderful experience. I was thankful for my child to be in the care of such kind, loving people. Mrs. Nora prepared my child with the knowledge he needs for Kindergarten. The proof is in the progress report! Braylon was heartbroken when he learned he couldn't have Mrs. Nora as his Kindergarten teacher.YOU LADIES ROCK!!! <3

My kids were at this preschool for over 2 years. The standards of the rule book only applied when it was convient for the owner. The teachers were constantly leaving or being let go of. As long as I agreed with the owner everything would be ok; but if you dont agree with the rules she made up that day then it will not work. My children liked it, but as the parent you get to see a lot of things that really go on. Such as a child being grabbed harshly by a teacher and when I brought it up to the owner she stated that this was not the first she was hearing of it!!! I should have ran then! Thankfully my children were not in that classroom and had great teachers in their rooms.
