Unfortunately, I forgot to get the names of the 2 phlebotomists (a guy and a gal) working on 9/20/2023. But they were great. Lots of people waiting and they got everyone in and out in what I thought was excellent time. She even stopped to help me with my sign in Two thumbs up ?

I had bought a test from the Labcorp website on Thursday May 11th, 2023 and then called the contact number on the Labcorp website and scheduled a 9am appointment for Tuesday May 16th, 2023 at this Labcorp facility inside of the Walgreens. I received a confirmation email, as well as, a schedule request number and appointment number. I show up at 9am and check in at the kiosk and wait patiently. About 30 minutes later, I ask the lab tech about how long until my name will be called because I had a 9am appointment and have been waiting for over 30 minutes (I showed her my confirmation email). She told me that she didn't have an appointment for me in their system, but will have someone look into it. About 15 minutes later I still have not heard back from any of the lab techs. I walk back up to the Labcorp door and ask if they found anything. She told me someone is looking into it (but how long does it really take to look into something of this matter). I then ask to speak to the person "looking into this". The lab tech brings me into their room and ends up calling their Labcorp headquarter's number and then hands me the phone. I explain the situation, give my schedule request number, and the lady on the phone says she will have my orders for the test "sent right over". In my head, this should take maybe like 5-10 minutes. I wait back in the waiting area and 40 minutes go by, still no word from any of the lab techs. It's 10:40am now. I advised the lab techs earlier that I was going to have to leave for a work meeting at 11am so I tell them again at 10:40am. I come back after my work meeting at 11:45am and ask the lab techs if they have received my test order papers yet, still nothing received. I ask the lab techs if they could call their Labcorp headquarter's back and see what is going on. I wait 10 minutes and no word from the lab techs. I call the customer service number for Labcorp and the guy that answered (David Orzoff) was the same guy who scheduled my appointment last Thursday. David asks me to hand the phone to one of the lab techs. David gets the email and fax number of the lab techs and emails/faxes my test order forms over in 5 minutes (David Orzoff was very helpful). They finally get my order forms around 12:10pm (over 3hrs after my original scheduled appointment time). I wait patiently for them to call my name, but they keep calling other people's names one after another. I wait 30 minutes and my name is still not called. I ask the lab tech when they will call my name and she says "I have other appointments I have to get to"... I've been waiting for almost 4hrs and she tells me she has other appointments first (people who have been waiting for like 5 minutes). Finally, around 1:10pm they call my name and I get my test taken care of (my test was a simple swab and took like 10 minutes to be completed). I finally leave the Labcorp around 1:30pm, over 4 hrs past my 9am appointment time. Even though I was very upset, and I mean very very upset, I remained calm and understanding through this whole frustrating situation. Yet, there was no apology or empathy given towards me through this whole encounter. Not to mention, I was there with my 1.5 year old son this whole time trying to entertain him inside of a Walgreens. I am very very disappointed with the service and wish I could rate it lower than 1 Star.

This lab corp is as bad as the one in Trinity. Again the check in machine was broke. Never even asked for an ID.the she couldn't find the doctors orders for tests. I had to call the doctors office on some strangers phone to get the doctor because she said their phone didn't work. Then they found it in the computer. Next she took blood after jabbing me in 3 places. It was sooo painful. She just kept moving the needle. I cannot stand Lab Corp. Go back to Quest please. I do not even want to go get tests because it is so bad.

Lab corp has always been my place to go for blood work and has always been good with a person that hates needles. This time though it has been 2 weeks and my doctor has not received my lab work so I might have to revise my rating.

Great overworked staff. Convent location. Can schedule appointments online. Kiosks give some people a run for their money & they need help, which I always offer when I see these situations. My veins are hard to find & I have been through many pokes, here first time. Qualified staff! My experience was effortless & you can schedule appointments online. What's a girl to do? I love convenience & hate pain, so easy decision....keep going back!
