“Yesterday, we were out on the boat. Unfortunately, my phone was dropped in the ocean (bye-bye). We went to Spectrum to switch service from T-Mobile, since I was forced to by a new phone (iPhone 15 Pro Max). T-Mobile was not easy to work with (how many times must I tell them "my phone is at the bottom of the ocean) in porting over my number. Stephanie Kahn was absolutely amazing - kind, patient, informative, and went above and beyond to make the transition easier. Therefore we walked out with two phones instead of one. We stopped in a few weeks ago to upgrade the husbands phone before our hiking trip to Spain, but forgot to ask about the international calling plans. So we were in the area and popped in and asked what we needed to know to use our phones if we get lost, need to make a reservation and since our hike is six weeks long and over 500 miles we will need to pay bills online while we’re there. “I was having issues with my monthly phone payments. I was helped by a cust svc salesperson who loked at my acct, found where the problem was, noticed I was due a different billing, and explained why I was accurately receiving two billings/month.
Steve Ortiz got me through to the correct department and when I could not understand their queries walked me through until I reached the correct person. And since Allie was unable to put through the new monthly charge due to delays on Spectrum Mobile's end, he advised they make a note of my call.. smart move but not considered by me. And in honesty, Allie had already noted my info on her end.
I have used this ofc perhaps four times since it opened and I have always been happy with their services. I commend SpectrumNPR on having the awareness to utilize the expertise of Steve Ortiz.
