This place have a employee called RAINA this person is the most racist and mean with Latin customers in this location. I receive this kind of of treatment from her every time I go there. Is very sad see how she thinks she looks good treating customers like that.

Was a great store new management does not care about customers. I also have mental illness. My wife and I spend at least 700-1000 and found out my wife and I were kicked out for what IDK. I was told by the manager that were not supposed to stay in the store long and shopping is no longer what they want. I am happy I'm out of there they have some odd work habits and rules.. wish I could talk to corporate employee they really need to here what they're managers and employees are doing.. I encourage them to call or email me .

Don't come here after coming back from a beach or lake or anything that results you in not having a shirt on I got forcefully kicked out for not having a shirt on after walking a long distance in heat to spend my money here ??♂️

WOW. Didn't know Dollar General allows Managers to treat customers the way I was treated in this Dollar General at 7932 Mass AVe today. Lived in this community 25 years, work full time managing a team of 12 for a 30k healthcare company right across the street from this D.G. We were so excited to see this store built! Id rather put my money into Dollar General vs Walmart to get what I need to be in and out and get the best deals. I understand being out of stock so I am happy to go to one of the 2 other D.G.'s near my home. They know my husband and my kids who are in there every day and literally watched them grow from infant to elementary age. Today, I opt to go to the Mass Ave 7932 location as I was not feeling well and needed to get everything on my list. Hubbie gives me the $10.00 off $40.00 coupon he got at the other DG last night and I was thrilled to use it today. There is a long line winding around into the isles, ok fine no problem. At the register with a $78.00 purchase of family goods (hair ties, medicines, laundry soap, etc.) The cashier who has been there for years was unable to get the coupon to go thru. AS new manager I've never seen there before (Raina) comes over and says that's is because someone used it and places it back down on the register. Ok, well this has also happened before which I have no idea why this happens when it was clearly not used- as I just tore it off my husband's receipt he gave me the night before on a day it cant be used anyway. So, I say, "It has not been used, but I've seen this same thing happen before for some reason,or it won't scan. My husband just got the coupon last night at the other dollar general and gave it to me". (Raina) says well maybe it wasn't you who used it, it could have been someone else." So, now there are people standing behind me and there is a long pause, so does this mean I am supposed to go along with that idea and forfeit my $10.0 coupon? Since no resolution or other option is being offered, I say, again, we just got the coupon last night and no one else used it, I am not sure why it is doing that but I have to say that is a bit insulting what you are saying". (Raina) then says, "I don't need your attitude, I'm giving you your $10.00, and if you don't like it then go to another Dollar General". (Verbatim). I asked for her name and she would not give it me and walked away saying again "if you don't like it you can go to another Dollar General". I then asked the cashier who stated she does not give out names. I looked at my register receipt and it lists the name Raina. I've never heard of a manger refusing to provide their first name in a retail establishment or any other managerial role for that matter. The whole experience was off-putting and disappointing the say the least. It is not my fault the coupon was not working properly and I should not have been treated like I was attempting to comitt fraud or scam the store. This does prompt me however to ask why this happens- a coupon not used showing used and unable to accept at the register like that. There has to be a reason this happens but now I am curious due to this event and hope Dollar General Corp could explore that. It makes a customer like me feel embarrassed to even present a coupon earned from a prior purchase for fear of a situation like this again! I am a supervisor in customer service in patient healthcare 17 years and 6 years in grocery retail customer service so I feel I have the right to say that no one in a manager role should have such a position if they cannot learn how to treat customers. There was quite obviously a better way to handle the whole situation to keep a good customer and maintain a positive experience for all. I welcome the opportunity to investigate the matter. I still have my receipt from the $10.00 coupon and am happy to provide my debit number to the corporate office to see that the coupon I presented was never used prior. Do not attempt to go within 15 minutes of closing or you will be treated very rudely. Doesn't help that the hours on Google are wrong.

Quite a few items that were supposedly on sale were out of stock and the employee at the register was not very helpful.

I looked up on google to see if this DG was open and I was surprised to find that it was! I looked on google for the hours as well as yelp/Apple Maps and both same. I physically go there and the doors were locked with the lights on. Wtf?

My local Dollar General store is a new stand alone store. This store offers a large variety of frozen and dry food, in addition to pet, HBA and household products. Keep in mind that this location cannot at this time take returns from other Dollar General stores, due to an upgrade computer system for sales and deliveries. I fell in that category, and was not happy about the non communication to customers about some store restrictions for returns. I tried to return some stuff I bought at another Dollar General and ended up having to wait to make my return. The employees are friendly and helpful at this store and constantly shop there 3 to 4vdaya a week
