An amazing pharmacy love the $5.00 a month club.. you can turn it it for extra discounts I saved $35 by spending $5.!! Love they took nicotine products out! No longer serving narco.. which I know is very much so needed for a select few.. but most use it as a cash crop or crutch and many have overdosed. Kiddos to CVS! Only wish was that their daily products had a better market value and the kids toys not so expensive. The dollar section does help a bit for quick buys. Really miss having them as my full time pharmacy but I am one of the few.. working on it! Acupuncture PT and better diet w having the needed surgeries have helped to bring all that down to a minimum.. Keep up the good fight .. No shame in having cancer ... Just keep smiling and enjoy the now!

Beware CVS shoppers. At check out, you may be asked if you want to sign up for a reward program only to find out you have joined a subscription costing five dollars per month. Wow, what a scam! Your credit card, used without your agreement. I spent an hour this morning trying to get to the bottom of the charge and then having it stopped. CVS agreed to stop the monthly charges but not the initial one. Who would have thought CVS was in the SCAM business!

I walked up to the counter, the clerk was not interested in ringing up my order [they have added self check out which I could not use due to issues with my order] I asked her if they no longer had cashiers.....she said "Pretty much NO". I placed my items on the counter, thanked her, and walked out without purchasing anything. If they are not interested in taking my money, I will go where they appreciate my business......This was the CVS on 19 in New Port Richey, Fl. I would recommend going elsewhere.

This pharmacy is a joke. An expensive one. I just left the store, and not only was I charged an extra $4.29 for something I didn't buy( she charged me twice), I was charged $8.49 for a container of 125ct generic aspirin (325 milligrams). 8.49!!! When I called the store, she said it was because I picked up aspirin from a section that is for people who buy OTC products with their insurance. REALLY!?!? You charge them 8.50 for a bottle of dollar aspirin! There was NO price listed on the aspirin and NO sign anywhere that said I was in a section for OTC products, be prepared to pay an arm and a leg. I will NEVER EVER go back to a CVS pharmacy for the rest of my life. What a ripoff!

I went in one night before closing, and noticed the friendly, helpful staff. I worked for a CVS many many years ago briefly as a part-time employee, so I notice when they do things like we were taught...greet customers, asking if there is anything they can help them find, offer to carry out larger items, etc. The young man at the counter was very nice. I noticed as I was leaving that he was helping an elderly woman with a cane carry her items to her car. Sweet guy. The manager was nice, too, and I chatted with her for a bit, since it was my first time at that particular CVS. They didn't have the paper shredder I came in for (it's a stretch, I know, but it saves me the painful steps of the big stores if I find something in smaller stores). I did, however, score a very comfy lap blanket/pillow set made of Sherpa. Very good quality. So it wasn't a wasted trip. I would recommend this store. Clean, nicely laid out, and friendly employees.

This is a clean, open floorplan CVS. To me, personally, I don't like the layout of there stores & find it difficult to find certain products. Lol, maybe that is why they have a somewhat odd layout, it promotes you to cover the entire store & I guess to purchase more. Usually I use "drug stores", for exactally that, to get a prescription filled or pick up a medical item. Sure,I will look at the sale ad & if they have any doorbuster sales, on an item I need, sure I will pick it up. Typically I just use the drive thru. If it is not a prescription, I just pop in grab what I want & I am on my way. Bottom line for me CVS takes more of my time than I care to loose, for a simple errand. The store layout, though clean & appears organized takes extra time & drives me crazy. Lastly the $$ off receipts only last a few day. I have no reason to return, so never save the supposed extra cash. Hey to each their own. Overall major choices boil down to Wallgreens or CVS, unless you include it with groceries or are a planner & do it via mail. Going with the 2 major choices, my personal choice is Wallgreens. They both carry about the same products, except store brands have different names. What's a girl to do? I hate errands, tend to do them in batches & like them to be a quick, easy & painless as possible.
