Im new to area looking for a Vet. This has good reviews and I tried calling twice. Once at 2pm and then again at 2:10pm. The phone rings and then I just get hung up on. You need some undercover boss over there to see who is and isn't doing their job.

My rescued dog had a medical emergency this past week at about 1:10 pm. I found my dog on his side at the bottom of the stairs. He was not moving. He was nearly lifeless. I was in tears crying and crying. I wrapped him in a towel and I rushed him to their office at 1:30 pm when they open after their lunch break. I told one of the receptionists while I was in tears that something happened to my dog. He asked me if my dog was a patient. I told him yes. I would have waited however long it took for them to take a look at my rescued dog. The vet tech came to take my dog to have his vitals checked within a matter of a few minutes. They were not busy at the time. I was crying and crying trying to speak. It turns out that his vitals were okay. The vet came out in the room to explain to me what was happening. She told me they think he had a seizure. It was his first. She asked if I would okay a blood test and IV to flush out his kidneys. (I did.) They brought him back to me and let me hold him and carry him. I held him and carried him. I also talked to him. Then they took him back for the blood test and IV. They told me to return at 5:30 pm to pick him up. I did. Then when I returned to pick him up they told me to drop him off at 7:30 am the next morning for another IV session. I did just that. I thought he was dying. It was a harrowing experience. He survived and is doing well now. I did not think they would take him in like they did but they did. Very happy with how they treated my rescued dog. By the way I don't think they dislike gay people. They are compassionate (and patient) to all. I highly recommend.

They have been busy but I still receive good customer service. They treat my dog well. They treat me well. The front staff has been helpful. It helps getting morning appointments in case they run late in the afternoon. I will return.

I have been bringing my cat here for almost three years now. They checked her out and helped me get her from a sickly stray neonate kitten to the healthy, chunky monkey she is now. She's a very "sassy" (their words lol) cat with a huge attitude and they always know how to give her the proper care and have never turned her away for being to hard to handle.

My Rat Terrier/Chihuahua Chico has been my constant companion for most of 20 years. We got him when he was "2 and a half years old", probably in 2004. When the inevitable day came to take away his pain forever (still no good way to say that), I ended up taking him here, despite them not having room for new patients. I explained we wouldn't be long-term patients. They were very kind and compassionate in every way. They made the process painless for both Chico and me. A few days later, I was surprised with a beautiful plant delivered to my house, which I will probably transplant to Chico's grave. When I get my new dog (someday soon), I certainly hope they will make room for us.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The doctors and staff are always so kind and patient with all my worrisome questions. I have unfortunately had 4 dogs pt down there and the compassion is outstanding! Dr Channell is our regular vet but I have dealt with all 3 dr's and they are all wonderful!

I read the reviews on Google and on Yelp... Get past the fluff...when you need them--they won't be there! Best Care AH has a trend of not treating urgent/emergencies. Sure they do well on day to day visits...BUT IF you have an emergency--Good Luck. Find a vet that is good in a crisis... this one is NOT.

Don't risk a dental cleaning to the posibility of death. I CAN'T state this enough. My dog died from being put under here for a dental. And I don't care how many dogs or cats survive the anesthesia ok. If it's YOUR family member that dies from a dental cleaning. Are you going to be ok with it? If you are than go ahead and risk it. Dr. Elliot and Lacey risked it on my SENIOR with dementia no less. And he died. I'm dead now. Many people will tell you it's too risky to put an animal UNDER for a dental. And I realized too late-it's OVERKILL all right. No common sense in todays world. It's all about $ and mindless rituals. And as soon as you start letting a Vet give your animals drugs of ANY kind. You are risking side effects that are worse than the ailment they started with. Drugs do not cure issues. They are temporary band aids at best. Do your homework. Look up how harmful it is to keep getting your animals vaccinated too over and over again. It's NOT NORMAL! Look up what is in vaccines.
