Ms virgie has almost always taken my check to deposit my rent to my landlords account. Several months ago she gave me several of the counter deposit slip w the numbers I needed on one to copy each time myself so they didn’t have to write it out for me.Well today I used my last one, I asked if I can get some more slips, and then I’ll deposit a check. She asked is it your rent (what does it matter?) I said yes .. she was just staring at me blankly…. I said can I get some more slips please so I can copy the numbers down …?? (2nd time asking)She said I can give you a couple. (okay why?? Why only 2?) I giggled when I received literally only a couple. This is a weird vibe. She goes on to say “when are you going to open an account so it’s not so inconvenient, you can just send it over” I said hmm interesting idea what does it take for me to hold an account? She said I think $100 deposit. (What??? For me to just transfer my rent to be paid?? Umm no thanks??) I said no thanks I don’t need an account I’m just paying my rent. It’s not really an inconvenience for me to pay my rent.So she starts making the deposit and asks if I have his address, which she has asked before a few times, the answer is always no. (What do I need it for? I have the acc number you need to deposit it every single time no problem why do u ask about address ?????????) this time I said “no, if I did I’d mail the check.”My point now is it seems like it’s an inconvenience for you to do the work at your job. I’m sorry we don’t live in a robot world yet, you work at a bank, and I need to deposit something. Also, I guess I’m not valued enough for excellent customer service, since I’m not a member. It was just really poor customer service for something very very simple. Why make it so much harder than it is? I hate coming here. She’s the main lady at the desk but when it’s busier and there are others to help on tablets they have all been much kinder and easy going and just get it done for me when I have worked with them. So to the others, thank you for your kindness.
