We went to have our taxes done, and Paul Seroka (senior tax analyst) was there to assist. However, he had given us a very disconcerting feeling off the bat. Unfortunately, we had misplaced 1 form, but we were planning to bring it back in the days to follow. He repeatedly scorned us for not having that form.
In the day to days to follow, after he repeatedly called my husband and gave him a difficult time, we decided to do our taxes ourselves, because he was just relentless and rude on the phone with us. We ultimately ended with a tax result that was SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT than what he was getting (prior to their costs/fees) which also makes me curious as to what he was doing differently…
Well, he decided to call me today to see what was going on with our taxes and why we hadn’t come back to finish, if it was him or what. And I honestly said, “well it was you personally” and I told him that we had gotten them done elsewhere, HE BERATED ME and said “oh great! So I do all the work for you and you decide to go to someone/ somewhere else! You could have called me to tell me! Great, so now I’m going to get a demerit from my boss!”
He wouldn’t stop talking, so I just hung up on him. He was not professional at all (not saying my hanging up on him was, but he wouldn’t stop talking and said he was putting a note on our records with their company). ??♀️

Ask for John! He was great. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My husband and I were in and out in an hour. We plan to come back and see him again next tax season!

My tax pro Kay has had my taxes since the end of January. She barely returns calls and when I call she is always with a client. Well, I thought I was a client! Apparently you are only a client if you are sitting in front of her. My taxes should be simple and I have no idea whats going on with them. Very disappointing.
