“This was our first trip to Key West and with so many choices for accommodations how do you pick one. Let me just say this is the one! We are big travelers with high expectations and I have 25 years in hotel sales experience. This property is beautifully appointed, clean and happy! The staff is superb and the pools lovely, located on a beautiful marina. The shuttle takes you into town, a quick 15 min trip, the 3 restaurants onsite were good, and nothing was crowded or noisy. It was a special trip with smiling trained staff to help all along the way. We booked Three excursions with Johnny the concierge and they were all great. Book this trip, here and oh be sure to book a room with a view.”

“We stayed here for only one night, but what a gem. I wish we could have stayed for longer. The pool, room, snacks and free happy hour from 4-5 are amazing. The coolers, ice machine and towels that are available would make any longer term stay simply amazing. We can't wait to come back!”

“Beautiful small room in the heart of Duval street.
They have a very nice bar as well.
Alert: the inn on the busiest street in key west, which means will hear people laughing, walking and maybe drunk while you are sleeping.
This place perfect for couples.. not the best for a family.

Rooms: Small rooms, perfect for couples.

Nearby activities: In the heart of the most touristic street in key west, Duval st

Walkability: Very walkable, and theu provide a free parking(very hard to find somewhere else)

Food & drinks: They have a very nice bar and a lot of rum drinks”

“Centrally located in KeyWest. We were right on the main street. Very friendly receptionist who showed us directly the friendliness of the state.
Everything was fine in the room and we even had two beds with two blankets.”

“Little piece of heaven. Charming Mansion with wonderful staff. The Mansion is old but cozy. We loved the place during the day with the pool just next to the water and walking distance to everything. The only problem we had was during the night. Our room (204) was facing the street and you could hear everything going on outside. The roosters were not the problem but singing screaming people and delivery trucks coming at 5.30 in the morning. But, except from that, we really loved staying at this magic Mansion.”

“The entire property is immaculate. We stayed in 306. The view of the pool and the Florida Strait is beautiful and calming. I sat on the patio whenever we weren't moving around or at the pool. Rooms are large. Breakfast is pretty good. Location is off the beaten path, yet a few minutes from all the fun. I didn't frequent the bar, but I heard no one complain. It's just so relaxing here. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The Capitana has become one of my faves!”

“My husband and I stayed here for our wedding and honeymoon. It was WONDERFUL. We got married on Smather's Beach on Key West, which was a short drive away. Honestly though, we never had to leave the hotel. The food was AMAZING. We enjoyed the Valentine's 4 course dinner. I can honestly say that the food at the hotel was just as good as the highest rated restaurants in Key West. The view from the room was so relaxing. We watched the sun rise and set over the water. It was serene. I started every day with a cup of tea watching the sun rise.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a kayaking tour with Anela. We did a sunset tour, I believe it was a Valentine's day special. It was one of the highlights of the trip. She was so knowledgeable and excited about everything she showed us. You could tell she really loves her job. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out we felt special. The property is beautiful. Thank you Ocean's Edge. We will be back!!”

“We just spent a few days in key west and I love this hotel. Starting with the breakfast, it's a lovely continental breakfast with fresh crossiants and juice. Our room is small (twin queen beds) but very comfortable! The air conditioning is great here and we kept the room a chilly 68. The pool is beautiful, well maintained and clean. The beds are nice and cozy with plenty of pillows . It was nice and quiet, never heard any neighbors. I definitely recommend! It is close to Duval street, and my husband walked to the corner bodega and go delicious mojitos. There is a cvs across the street and a golf cart rental place right outside the hotel. All in all it was a great location!”

“My husband and I came to West winds for our first key west trip to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for more. The West Winds grounds are just a hidden gem. If you are looking for modern, new style rooms, this isn’t it. The rooms are older, old AC units but don’t give up there! The rooms are kept COLD if you like. The DAILY turnover service is incredible and the bed is comfortable. The grounds of the inn are just magical and so well taken care of. Two pools, one heated. There is a continental breakfast in the cutest spot, poolside. Nothing fancy but just enough to give you the morning snack and a cup of coffee. Perfect!! On the corner there is a bakery with delicious options and then on the other corner is the bike rentals.

Don’t be turned off by the parking. My husband I were there 6 days and moved the car a few times and NEVER had an issue finding another spot! I could go on forever! This place was perfect and we can’t wait to come back ❤️”

“Beautiful place with lots of them and he's. Unique use of the space where individual rooms are rented out, and most of the space is common areas. Beautiful pool, relaxing and you don't see many other guests.Rooms: Room was spacious and included a refrigerator. Each room and had its own bath suite, and access to a shared balcony.Nearby activities: In the old part of town, central to Key West. Easy to walk or bike around. Driving the narrow streets was a minor challenge, and parking is hard to find in town.”

“This was a wonderful hidden gem! We had a sisters weekend and were pleasantly surprised at how quite the place was and how close the location was to everything we wanted to do. The only other people there was the couple in the next cottage over, and we all sat at the pool together. Wish we could have stayed longer, I'd definitely like to come back next time!”

“Went down for a work trip with a group of 20+. This hotel is in an awesome location, near everything. The grounds were pristine. I only ate at the restaurant for breakfast, it was really good. The staff was the best part, especially Lisa who worked around the pool. We kept her running around all day.”

“Lovely room and grounds, pool was very nice and close to all beaches and attractions. Downside was that it is in close proximity to police/fire rescue and sirens were constant. Staff was courteous and helpful.Rooms: All anemities provided for kitchenette. A bonus since everything (food related) on the island is outrageously priced.”

4.1 Good179 Reviews

“Nice, quiet, but still centrally located hotel. All hotspots are very easy to reach on foot. The rooms are furnished to match Key West. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the hotel. Only the loud air conditioning could be replaced. And the “Crazy Chicken” wakes you up at 6:00 in the morning :-D. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is OK. The hotel's free parking spaces should also be highlighted positively.”

The concierge at the hotel is the person to go to for all your adventures on the island. They really took care of us well. The Pool was awesome. The Complimentary breakfast with the local birds were great. Shuttle to/from airport and also to/from the downtown area was very convenient.”

“This was our first time staying at the Opal Key Resort. We loved the size and view of our room, however the bathroom was very dated and we were disappointed that the kitchenette in our suite didn’t have any cutlery, plates, bowls, napkins, etc nor did it have a sink as were portrayed in the pictures on the website. The pool area was beautiful and Ryan was very accommodating and made excellent food recommendations. The Bistro was also delicious as were the drinks at the pool bar & sun deck. The resort location is perfect and we look forward to returning next year!”

“Nice hotel (not a kid hotel however you can bring kids here) and bartender Valden was awesome! He even speaks 5 different languages!!! Love the free popsicles, slushes and churos. They also do happy hours & have a dj Friday to Sunday 12-4 which makes the pool area fun. The pool also has floatys and there is a pool boy to give you a towel and sun screen if needed.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Parrot Key Hotel, which was in a good location, had a nice outdoor restaurant and bar and provided shuttles into town every half hour.We didn’t use any of the pools or beach as we are Florida residents and really just came to the Keys for a weekend getaway.”

3.9 Good413 Reviews

“The room was excellent, happy hour just what we needed after the trip. The location is wonderful, but parking in Key West is horrible. We found parking for $15 4 blocks away and were happy about it since cabana inn have limited parking space and much more expensive. Inn was great at the end.”
