ALL WRAPPED UP AND TIED WITH A BOW!I am honestly so shocked that there are not more reviews for this business. Paper Lantern is a gift boutique right off of Immokolee road in Naples FL. It is in the same shopping plaza where Rusty's is located. I have come to realize that a lot of the loveliest shops/hidden gems around are located the most unexpected places. Paper Lantern is no different than other gift shops in town. When I came in I saw quite a lot of Mud Pie decor and serving platters. You can find Mud Pie really anywhere in Naples, so I am not seeing much different from this store to the one I visited yesterday. Just the prices might be a little higher. My assumption is that Nora is the owner of the store. She was at the cash register when I came inside. She was telling me how the store has grown and that others have claimed that there is nothing like it anywhere else in Naples. But like I said before, I am not seeing how that could be true. I have seen the same inventory at other places in town for much cheaper than what they are charging. Apart from Mud Pie being sold here there are lots of other goodies. Including an entire section for children, jewelry, purses and even some Christmas cards and orients. One thing I did notice that they have in their inventory which I am not so sue you can find other places is Naples locally made candles and wax melts. I do like to see small businesses supporting other small business owners. So bravo on that aspect. I guess you can say I have some mixed feelings about this gift shop. It was not good nor was it bad either. It was just an experience. I am not sure if my timing was off as it is closer to the holidays and creating a differentiation between all the gift shops in town is harder since a lot of them sell the same types of things during the holidays. Paper lantern is just one of those gift shops, I guess. It may be great for hostess gifts if you want to spend a bit of money.

You MUST visit if you haven't already! so many fantastic ideas for hostess gifts, closing gifts for realtors, baby gifts, wedding gifts, gifts for yourself (what I shopped for :), housewarming gifts, and gifts that you don't find just anywhere. Everybody there is so delightful AND they gif wrap!
