Stellar service, hands down great selection, and a wonderful experience that anyone would truly enjoy. I hope to come by again and enjoy a delightful dinner with matching customer service that I received earlier.

It was our first time visiting and Douglas was absolutely fantastic! We learned so much about all the different wines and their back stories - it was like we were in Napa again. Thank you Douglas for the suburb service and hospitality. Great wine select, friendly service and a beautiful environment. Definitely a place we will come visit more often! Thank you Douglas ?

Wonderful evening! We had a wonderful evening here last night. First bubbly tasting at perhaps Naples most unique wine store. Very generous pours and even something to snack on. Jackson was a great host for the tasting. Then dinner afterwards where we asked Chef David to select what dishes he recommended for us, knowing that we are foodies who have sampled some excellent restos worldwide. Chef David didn’t disappoint as the fois gras was superb as always, the duck breast was tender and the black cod soft as butter. We really appreciate innovative cooking, and with Chef David at the helm, The Cave Bistro has become one of the best gourmet restaurants in Naples.

Tyler was great but the oysters were small and not the best, the Caesar salad was good with real anchovies but so small, I wish I had a heads up about the fish special, Hamachi was fishy and not warm and it ruined my appetite, such a nice place but we won’t go back. Anyone ordering should ask a lot of questions!

Once again, completely disappointed! Stopped going, decided on a whim, let’s get a night cap and desert….stupid us, we will never learn….ordered a wine, bee and asked for wine menu..40 minutes later never got a dessert menu, so we must be very ugly homely people, completely ignored EVERY time we go here, never again!!!!!

My boyfriend and I visited The Cave after seeing it on a featured advertisement on my Apple Maps. It looked really awesome so we thought we would check it out. Boy are we glad that we did! The atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable. It is attached to the Naples wine room, so they have a great selection of wine directly at their fingertips. We went for happy hour, and it did not disappoint! While the dining room looked well serviced, you must sit at the bar. The experience that the bartenders Frank and Nick gave us was unparalleled! They were engaging, attentive, and truly cared about our experience. Make sure you get them when you visit! We will be back thanks to their service. Also, highly recommend the oysters! They are not served with the traditional accompaniments!

We have to say that although the menu is somewhat limited (only 2 fish/seafood entrees) we enjoyed our meals very much. I had the pork chop which was tender, succulent and devoid of excess fat. My wife thoroughly enjoyed short ribs which is not her usual meat choice (she loves filet mignon or ribeye however for a steak choice they only had NY strip). For an appetizer we split an order of chicken meatballs which was the “star of the show” and was ample for two people. Our complements to your excellent NYC-bred chef! We do have one SERIOUS complaint. The restaurant is connected to an upscale wine store and the two properties are shared by common ownership. The wine choices on the restaurant wine list are easily found within the wine store. Nevertheless, there is a significant upcharge for any wine purchased at dinner- essentially double the store price. So a $60 store bought wine would be featured on the restaurant list at $120 (this was exactly how it was explained to me by our server!). Are you kidding me?? A $60 upcharge for wine carried on the same premises????? What??? And this upcharge is for merely opening a bottle with a corkscrew ? (We poured the wine ourselves after the initial pour). Come on!! This type of charge is inexcusable. As a matter of fact, another very fine local Naples wine shop with an attached restaurant (360 Wines) allows its diners to purchase the wine of their choice from within the store and then be consumed at dinner at their restaurant. And do you know what the upcharge is????…….”0”. That’s right….ZERO UPCHARGE. So at Cave Bistro you might feel that you are being taken advantage of… and in fact, IMHO, that is exactly the case! So despite an enjoyable meal, I cannot return to Cave Bistro while this wine charge policy remains in place. In fact, although I’ve purchased a few cases of excellent wine from the store in the past few years, I’ll be changing my allegiance hereafter. My suggestion to the owners is to rethink your upcharge policy as a matter of good faith to your customers. Think about it….You’re ALREADY capitalizing on the wines sold directly from your store. How about negating the upcharge for your dining customers (or, at least, minimalizing it) as a tribute to your supporting customers who both want to enjoy a good meal in your restaurant along with a fine wine to complement the food!

This is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is very nice. The food was excellent, and the wine was fabulous. I felt like I was in a European bistro. We will definitely go back!

The food, wine and service were all excellent; the scallops were, without any exception, the best I’d ever eaten - sweet, tender, with a nice charred crust. Our server (Jackson) helped us with wine selection and tended to our every need. Overall, a perfect experience.

Without a doubt The Cave Bistro is one of the finest restaurants in all of Southwest Florida. As long time customers we have seen a big leap in quality and service since superstar General Manager Olga (also a certified sommelier) and top chef Daniel Swofford took the reins last year. Now firing on all cylinders, the team delivers outstanding table service, superb cuisine, and a wonderful wine list at reasonable prices. Outdoor dining is available on request, and the inside bar is lively with many friendly people. A must-do for those in Naples looking for the complete experience. We cannot wait to return. Lastly, be sure to visit the adjacent wine retail shop. It is full of gems at competitive prices.

I had wanted to try the Cave Bistro for a long time, and I like to go to new places at Happy Hour before committing to an expensive dinner. We had a 5pm reservation, and were seated at a nice patio table. They were not busy yet. We tried the 4 oysters for $12 - they were truly the smallest oysters we'd ever seen. Regular price is $4.50 each!! The Thai Mussels were very good, but were only served with two small slices of baguette. The delicious sauce needed more bread, so I asked for it and she brought about 8 slices. The adult "Lunchable" also only came with 2 small slices of baguette! Not enough! We shared the additional 8 slices between the mussels and the cheese, and thought it was so silly when we were charged $1 for the extra bread. The chicken meatballs were a nice portion, but not a lot of flavor. This sounds crazy but the biggest ripoff was the Truffle Popcorn. For $5 we got about 1-1/2 Cups of popcorn that had never EVER been near truffle. At one point my husband sat quite a while waiting for his next dish. He asked the server and she said "It should be out soon. We're not a hurry up kind of place". LOL So with two drinks and tip we were over $100. I really wanted to love it, but won't return.

Beautiful decor and atmosphere. There is a wine store attached to the restaurant. The server was very friendly and attentive but the kitchen was very slow. The dishes we tried were all tasty but the portions were all small. Even the salads, which is not usually the case. The fois gras was ordered to be shared by two guests. I know why the kitchen didn't split the dish, it would have been too small to serve. The salmon, scallops and mussels were very fresh. The risotto was cooked perfectly. And the desserts were yummy! The big disappointment was the very loud noise level. Some sound absorbing material should be added somewhere in the room to make conversing with your dinner guests a possibility.

Four of us went there for dinner about two weeks ago and were very disappointed. We had been ther twice before and really enjoyed our time there. But this last time it was different. We all receved very small portions and our server seemed totally uninterested and dismissive when I mentioned this to her. She said that she would mention this to the chef and that was it. At a minimum she should have asked a manger to come speak with us about the issue. Her attitude should have been much better. They were not crowded when this happended, so it was not like she was too busy. All of us wlll probably not return; too many other really good restaurants in Naples.

With every visit I'm more and more impressed. I cannot get enough of this amazing place! I've been sitting at the bar more often and absolutely love Troy, Athens, Kory, and Greg! ALWAYS making mine and my friends' visit so fantastic! I will continue to be a regular for this and feel these gentlemen are assets! Thank you for always making me, my friends, and everyone who sits at your bar feel like we all belong and are important!
