Great Customer Service when they are trying to get you to make a purchase, but once you do...Customer Service is nil. Set up delivery of my bedroom furniture, requested an early delivery. I was told they couldn't guarantee it but would try. Today is delivery day, received a call at 8:00 am, with a delivery time of 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, so much for an early delivery time. Explained to the driver, we would not be home after 5:45 pm. His response was basically too bad. Called the store and spoke with Kim in the office, she could care less. Later in the day, delivery time went to 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, again my husband called and spoke with Kim. She told him they had nothing to do with the delivery service. They charge you $200 for the service, but have nothing to do with it, amazing. She was anything but helpful, telling him if that they came, and we weren't home someone would call to re-schedule! Now, at 3:40 pm, delivery time was updated to 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Guess my husband will be putting our bed back together! See how long it takes to get them to re-schedule it. Never shopping with them again. We have too many exceptional furniture store in Naples.

On 2/24/24 my wife and I made our first-ever purchase from Matter Brothers Furniture in Pinellas Park, FL. We had never been in their showroom, which is quite large and very nicely done, with a large number of high-quality furniture displays on the floor. The sales staff all seemed to be very pleasant and professional. We made a purchase in excess of $12,000 that day, and were told that our new furniture would be delivered on 2/28/24 as all pieces but one (special ordered) were in-stock. As instructed by our sales rep, we checked their website late afternoon on 2/27/24 to get the timing for our delivery the following day. The MBF system had no delivery listed for us under either our order number or cell phone number, either of which we were told to use when checking on the status of the delivery. I tried calling the dispatch number listed in the paperwork, which no one answered and which had a malfunctioning voice mail, so was unable to leave a message. I tried calling the customer service number (at 04.30 pm) listed in the paperwork, and received a message saying they were closed for the day. I then called the showroom and spoke to a sales rep (our sales rep was off that day) and explained the situation. I was told that we had NO delivery scheduled for the following day. After checking further, the sales rep informed me that, because we had purchased two accent pillows off the showroom floor on 2/24/24, the system had automatically cancelled our delivery order! The sales rep also indicated that none of the other sales reps she spoke with had ever heard of this issue, where the MBF system automatically cancels a delivery order if a showroom floor purchase was included in the original order. In addition, the sales rep also informed me that one of the pieces of furniture that we had been told was in-stock, was not and was now being special ordered. Our delivery was then rescheduled for an additional six days in the future as we were advised that this was now the first available delivery date. No attempt was made to move our second delivery date forward, given that the original delivery cancellation was entirely the fault of the store. I again checked their website late afternoon on the day prior to our second scheduled delivery date and, once again, found no delivery window listed. I called the showroom and spoke with another different sales rep who informed me, contrary to what we had been previously told, that delivery status could ONLY be checked after 09.00 am on the day of delivery. Again, this was not what we had been told previously! I did receive a call on the day of the second scheduled delivery and our (incomplete) furniture order was actually delivered. However, after it was all unpacked and set-up, we noticed not one, not two, but three different blemishes in our brand new furniture! The delivery guys showed us in the system where they had noted these three problems and advised us that we would receive a call the following day from customer service to schedule a furniture repair technician to come out to (hopefully) repair these problem areas. It has now been four days, and we have not received any follow-up from customer service! After what started out looking to be very pleasant, our overall experience with Matter Brothers Furniture can be summed up as a complete and total lack of communication / consistency / competence / service / follow-up / follow-thru / respect for the customer. Needless to say, we will never shop at Matter Brothers Furniture again. The well-worn adage of "Buyer Beware" definitely applies here, so if you are thinking about shopping at Matter Brothers Furniture, you have been fore-warned!!

Stumbled upon Matter brothers after moving to Naples..in the midst of a remodel, at prime time in the middle of Covid. With that being said, nice furniture and price point..had our decorator come in from New Jersey..she worked with Tracey, who was all about patting himself on the back on what a great salesman he was..he was rather knowledgeable and worked well with our decorator..fast forward..spent $16,000 in about an hour and a half..mostly Hooker furniture. with""Purchased a bedroom set, barstools, breakfast set, area rug, sectional couch and a lamp for over the breakfast table. Was quoted anywhere from 2 1/2 to 8 mos for deliveries, due to supply chain issues..all good, till then. Took two months to get my electrician over to hang the lamp after receiving 2mos after being ordered. I didn't like it and it took another month to get him back to take it down. When I went to take it back, Tracey (or Terry.. One of those names works) told me it was a custom order that I signed for.. I had nothing on my paperwork reflecting that. Further he told me he ran it up the flagpole to the owners and they wouldn't take it back because due to it being a "custom order" and further, the return period had expired..lol..during covid. I explained to him we found the lamp "hanging in the store" it was obviously a commodity item. Fast forward, then I dropped the lamp off and called American Express and they took care of it. I further bought a sectional couch, which I looked at three times. When it finally came eight months later, it was "not the right tone or couch" to go with the area carpet. This was validated by friends. It cost 2,500..I wholesaled it two weeks later on fb for 950 because I refuse to walk back in the store.. have never seen such liars, thieves and con artists..Tracey lied to my face in the store when asked to produce the lamp invoice! Got the invoice, opened to the custom order page..there was "No Signature".. he looked up at me and said, oh it must be on the other paperwork..what a f@cking liar. I refuse to ever walk back in that store..hence the reason for wholesaling the couch and washing my hands of this incredibly disturbing experience!

This is not the 1st time we used Matter Bros..We have had a excellent experience with their designer Tami.. After shopping around, their prices are quite reasonable.. They also have unique items on display, such as, the tree root tables.. we bought a Tree root base dining table with 60 " glass top.. and a tree root coffee table, along with bedroom sets chairs, gliders, absolutely gorgeous ‼️Thank you, Tami@ Naples Matter Bros Store for all your help ❣️

Matter Brothers has been my go to furniture store for the past few years and I have been pleased with their service and products. Their products are stylish, comfortable and durable and their prices fair. I have worked with Sam who is always willing to go the extra mile. Tami Ofenloch was the best! She helped us choose some dining chairs for a unique situation that we had. I wished I knew her when we were renovating. Tami has great taste and a great eye for design. She was on top of our order through delivery. Highly recommend Tami and Matter Brothers!

We are building a home in Bonita Springs while currently still in New York. Needless to say we are on a mad dash to do as much as we possibly can when we get the chance to fly in for a quick weekend. We were truly blessed when we walked into Matter Brothers Naple location and was greeted by Tami Ofenloch! She worked with us and my sisters and put together a beautiful arrangement of furniture for our new home!! She has a beautiful eye for decorating and knows her stuff !!!! She went above and beyond staying late, coming in early and as well on her day off to make sure that we had pictures and measurements for all our rooms. She stays in contact constantly with us via text, email, and phone . We still have more pieces to buy and we are still working with Tami to get this accomplished. Can't vouch for the delivery or setup as of yet but we are truly confident that with Tami it will be effortless!! Tami Ofenloch you're the best!!!!!!

We were very pleased with our experience with Matter Brothers..Tom worked with us our first day and then the following day when we purchased the majority of our furnishings for our new home. He was a tremendous help in finding the right pieces and fabrics. Would recommend Matter Bros for quality furniture at good prices.

Immediate acknowledgment on walking into the store, Tom was helpful but not intrusive, and found us a few options on the floor to fit our size requirements. We had a limited window for delivery and he made it happen for us. Delivery was efficient and clean, the entire process was a pleasure overall!
