Sitting here in front of the office! Website says it opens @ 11! Hours on door says it opens at 11 yet there’s no one here!! Frustrating is an understatement! I have driven around trying to find an open HNR and NONE have the right info!!
I tried HNR - Finding another company, you are NOT dependable!

I paid the extra money for the peace of mind and had used them for nearly 20 years, but now IRS are coming after me because of their tax errors. Errors which they will not earn up to.

David MacFarlane was by far the RUDEST, most UNPROFESSIONAL man I have ever dealt with. I had my taxes done with someone else at the same location that was absolutely lovely and took his time so I referred my boyfriend (told I would be sent a referral email to redeem money.) From the moment we sat down everyone word that came out of our mouths was dismissed and ignored by Mr. MacFarlane. He rushed us and did not answer any questions or respond to concerns at all. And the worst part was at the end when I brought up my referral email he rolled his eyes, huffed and puffed, and slammed the paperwork back onto the desk. Acting like I was beyond an inconvenience. Why does your company offer the referral reward if your employees are going to be EXTREMELY RUDE and not want to process or know how to even. I am so disappointed, you will never see me or anyone I know or care about at H&R Block Again...

I went to this office today and had an appointment with Dan. As with the first reviewer, I arrived for my appointment on time and needed to wait 15 or 20 minutes while Dan finished a call that was in progress when I arrived. It happens. As a professional myself, I understand that these things happen. Making a client wait is not an intentional thing. I was not the least bit put off and my initial meeting with Dan went far better than I expected; I walked away feeling more knowledgeable that I was when I walked in. I look forward to working with Dan.

I have used this H&R Block office for the past 3 years with good results before Renee retired. Following her retirement, I was assigned to Dan and made an appointment. On the day of my appointment, I arrived 5 minutes early and waited 30 minutes past my appointment time. I found out later that Dan had taken someone in for an unscheduled meeting before me and was running late. I understand this is the height of the filing season and appointments are backed up a bit. But after a 30-minute wait, at no time did my advisor merely take a quick minute or two to go to the waiting area, perhaps apologize for running late, and tell me how much longer he may be. If he had said he would be finished shortly, I would have stuck around. But for all I knew he could have taken another 30 minutes to an hour and I elected to leave and find another tax preparer who was a bit more considerate.
