Folks I Grew up in the industry. My Grandfather owned a gas station and was a mechanic and passed it down to my Father. My dad had 3 girls, I was the only one that had any interest in the business and wanted to work for him. The reason for the background is because I want you to understand that I know the industry inside and out. The good the bad. The honest and dishonest. The high and best priced place to go. Once my Father retired my husband an I decided we couldn't take over his business and continue to run ours. So we tried different mechanical places. Mostly what I found was over pricing, lack of knowledge, and BS. Here's the thing, a mechanics job is to figure out what's wrong with your car. You want it fixed but don't want to pay the high price right? But you don't know what's wrong or how to fix it, and don't really feel like calling around or dragging you car from place to place to see if your getting best price. The things a mechanic does or should do is check the entire car over for other problems if he's a good mechanic. You might think they are looking to make more money off you, but their not it's called prevented maintenance. I can't tell you how many times I've dealt with customers dissatisfied with previous mechanics that only fixed what was broke and the customer would be back the next day with additional problems. They'd get smart and call around looking for a new mechanic. One person I remember had gone to a dealership that told him he had a $1,500.00 Dollar problem, after coming to us found it was not the part needing replaced and it was much cheaper. This type of thing happens more often then not a makes a bad name for mechanics in general. France's Auto is not like your typical dealerships. He's in the business because he loves working on vehicle's. He is a good ole' country boy, Honest, Trustworthy, an Extremely knowledgeable. France's Auto wants to help you not take advantage of you. If he finds a problem that isn't broken yet he will advise and tell you don't fix it till it breaks. That to me is a good mechanic, you have the choice to fix now or when the problem arises. (If it ain't broke don't fix it) I know that can be a risky thing to do because no one wants to break down unexpectedly, however if you go in for regular maintenance faithfully this will help prevent the unexpected. Most people don't go to the mechanic because of two reasons one money and second because of the inconvenience. Well that's why you have problems with your car. People go in more regularly and keep your car healthy an happy. 😠I promise Prices are more then fair he can work on all makes and models including trucks. France's Auto is Quality workmanship fair and Honest results!!!
