I bought a pair of shoes online for my son in Christmas and when he tried them on, they did not fit. We went to the JD sports store at Coastland Mall and the guy did not want to accept them because he said the shoes had been worn. He even called the manager but the manager said exactly the same in a very bad way. The customer service at this store is awful. I contacted Finish Line over the phone and I was able to return the shoes with a label they sent me.

Bought my daughter a pair of shoes for Christmas. I bought a half size bigger because they didn’t have the size I needed at the time. They told me at the time of sale that if they don’t fit I could return them for the correct size if they have it or they could order the correct size for me. On Christmas Day my daughter opened the shoes and tried them on right away. Walked across are home floor and said they fit a little big. She took them off and put them in the box. When I went to swap out the sizes they told they could not accept them because she tried them on and walked on our floors with them. I told them that is ridiculous and wanted to see a manager. Another guy came out and said the same thing. Any other shoe store would have took them back. I will no longer do business with JD. My daughter did the same thing at home with trying to shoes on as she would’ve done trying to shoes on at the store. Here’s a photo of the shoes they would not accept.

I highly recommend going to another place. The current staff is not very helpful, they threat you with an actitude, they too vusy talking to each other rather than helping customers.

Have you ever gone to a shoe store where your children aren’t allowed to try both shoes on at the same time? What kind of d*** policy is this? I will never buy anything from this store that automatically assumes everyone is a thief.

Went into the store this evening for a simple return with a receipt and within the 45 day return policy. I am mind blown by the disrespectful and rude Manager that was at the desk. Was absolutely rude for no reason at all since the moment she started the return. When I greeted her she completely ignored me. Started Inspecting the shoes asked me for my email/phone number and then said put your card in, I said sure let me check on my receipt which card I used and she rudely said “it doesn’t show me which card you used” I then said that’s fine I’m checking on the receipt on my phone to make sure I have the right card. Then she said as a matter of fact since your passed the 45 days, your going to have to get a gift card. I was confused at this point because my receipt is from 11/27 and today is 01/05. I explained that it hadn’t been 45 days since the purchase. Then she said well there’s nothing I can do about that call customer service!!! I asked is there someone else here that might be able to help me here, she then said nope I’m the Manager. I asked her ok but you do see what I mean, that’s it hasn’t been 45 days?? Then she said well maybe it’s the wrong credit card so I said ok I can try my other card and she said your not listening it’s either the gift or you call customer service. At this point she’s raising her voice and causing a scene. Mind you I’m with my two young children at the mall just trying to return some shoes. I said mam I’m just trying to understand what I the problem is with the return. Why I can’t get my refund to my card at this she was like, your not listening maybe it’s something with your receipt!!! I then grabbed my shoes and proceeded to walk away because I knew she wasn’t trying to help me and I said I’ll call customer service and they can help me. She then started yelling across the entire store that I just don’t know how to listen and understand and she continued yelling and saying rude things to me as I walked out of the store. She also had no name tag so I don’t know her name.Im blown away by how disrespectful and rude this woman to me in-front of my 3 and 6 year old. She had no reason to be that nasty, disrespectful and rude!!!! Finish-line do better!!!! I’ve been a customer to this company for over a decade.I will be contacting cooperate and filing a complaint. I would really appreciate to hear back from the store manager about this incident.
