This water park at Eagle Lakes is a great find! At only $1.50 - $2 for entry, it was an affordable day of family fun! You can (and in fact, you're encouraged to) bring your own snacks/drinks, but they also have a small concessions area. We packed a cooler of drinks (la croix and some harder bevvies for the adults in our group), sandwiches, and snacks, and headed to this park for the afternoon. There was a large kids pool that was at most 3 1/2 feet deep, with a bunch of squirting machines and a giant wheel that dumps water. My nephews and niece really enjoyed this one, and it was large enough that there was still room to swim around and have fun. There was also a nice ledge along the back side of the pool (away from the attractions) so you can comfortably sit! There was also a large pool (that was much colder!) with lap lanes, an area to hang/swim, and a high and low diving board. There was always a small line for the diving boards, the kids were having so much fun! On top of all that, there are 2 water slides and an infant pool. The pool areas are well-staffed with lifeguards who were on top of keeping an eye on everything, blowing the whistle to get the attention of people, making sure kids were walking not running, and keeping the area safe. There's also a good blend of chairs in the sun and picnic type tables in the shade. We had a blast here and it's a great place for a family fun day!

Large community park with lots of sports fields of all kinds and there's also a pool with slide. The hiking trail goes all around and further to water reservoirs where people observe wildlife. There's also water for dogs.

Donna Fiala was the longest-serving county commissioner in modern Collier County history. She served five terms, the most by a commissioner since 1950.. She has been called a champion of East Naples and a peoples commissioner. She started by working on the East Naples Civic Association, eventually becoming its its president. She worked as a community activist, tackling the problems she saw in East Naples like run down parks. In November 5, 2020 a dedication ceremony was held for the Donna Fiala Eagle Lakes Community Park. The park was named in Donnna Fiala's honor "in recognition of her devotion, dedication and accomplishments as a valued government representative." First opened in 2015, the park is located between Naples Manor and Lely Resort in East Naples. I loved discovering this park, it has so many amenities. These include an aquatic complex, community center, fitness center, meeting room, lighted baseball and softball field, 2 lighted soccer/football fields, lighted basketball court, picnic shelter, and playground. My favorite part of the park is the 2.5 mile nature trail and the 1 mile paved pathway for walking and running around the lake. I saw so much wildlife, anhingas, a pelican, osprey, turtles, and fish. Donna Fiala fought for so many years to build this beautiful park for her community and now it bears her name. She wanted a place where families could come together for picnics and parties, where kids could play safely, and where people could exercise and enjoy nature. I think she more than succeeded in giving East Naples all that she thought they deserved. Come out and see what one woman's determination with the backing of her community has achieved.

There are never any parks open to the public. I have been kicked off by field workers at almost every field in Collier (Max Hasse, golden gate, livingston, veterans, etc), even when no little leagues are currently open and no field maintenance is going on. When asked why you cannot use the fields you are often given a bad excuse that you can tell is a lie to simply send you on their way. The attitude with which crew workers approach you with is always confrontational right of

A local recommended it ... and we found lots of birders w binoculars out at 9 am and lots to see. Even caught a couple of otters playing! The anhinga photographed isn’t unusual but being able to photograph this juvenile from about 5 feet was different.
