“I purchased my front door from Smith & DeShields, and at first all went smooth and well. Sales guy was new, but very attentive. Then it all went south from there. My simple replacement hurricane implact door turned into a fiasco. There was nothing about the order that was right from the glass, the texture of the door, the inswing, the color of the hardware. The entire order was incorrect when it was delivered, so I declined delivery. Thankfully Jordan, the supervisor, took over the order and swiftly corrected all the mistakes and delivered the door I had purchased, and gave me a credit for all the troubles including holding up installation. I don’t love mistakes, but it’s how a company handles it afterwards that counts, and I believe Smith & DeShields handled the situation well. Just make sure you get a seasoned sales person.”
