As a first time dog owner I was afraid I wasn't doing things correctly. Brown Vet. Clinic takes the time to explain everything to me. The office is friendly and they take the time to answer any of my frantic questions without making me feel like I am crazy.

Had a good experience with staff, but after $1100 worth of bills, they were still unable to tell me what was wrong with my dog. She just got better on her own. Very expensive

They took great care of my Mom's kitties (Blackie & Smudge) and were kind enough to refund an unused deposit. Everyone was very nice and professional.

What a great facility. Every there has a great rapport with animals, and they were truly amazing in helping us say goodbye to our 13 year old beagle. Got a paw print, card with a nose print, and a bottle with her hair in it.

Hold on to your seats folks. This is something else!! So disappointed. I have been taking animals to the Brown Veterinary Clinic over the past 18 years. In this last few years I have been concerned, but hopeful that my dog was being cared for properly. In the last 6 weeks I seen more incompetence than I have ever seen in any service I have ever used. I made an annual appointment over a month in advance. At that time I sat for almost 3 hours on a Saturday morning because they were understaffed. Things happen. I understood. Until the days following. The day of the appointment they told me my dog was old enough to qualify for a “vaccine package.” This included blood work, annual vaccines and a fecal/urine sample. The following Tuesday I brought a fecal/urine sample back. Three days later I got a call that the blood work had been lost. Makes you wonder how it was lost, or if it was mishandled. Maybe labeled improperly? Did someone else’s get my dog’s bloodwork? How does this happen?? So I brought him back the following week to redo the bloodwork. It took two more weeks for the doctor to follow up on the blood work. He said some results were inconclusive because he must have eaten prior to taking blood. Seems suspicious after what I have already been through, but ok. Would have been nice if the staff would have told me that he needed to fast. He also proceeded to tell me that we will stay on a continuing medical routine that costs $300/mo after we had previously talked about not continuing that course because one, it wasn’t working and two it was too expensive. Obviously notes weren’t being taken and he is more concerned about the revenue generation. The following day I got an email stating that my dog was due for vaccines. I called the office only to find out that one of the vaccines that was part of the package, that I already paid for, had not been given to my dog because it was not due until the following week after I had been there for the annual appointment. Not one time did anyone on the staff let me know that it hadn’t been given, that we would need to come back, but they sure let me pay for it without any knowledge that the service had not been done. Really scary that they are charging people for services not provided. Did they give me a refund for that vaccine? They did. But not before telling me I could come back AGAIN. I told them I will never ever step foot in that clinic ever again. They had no problem emailing me my dog’s medical records. Only to find out that the records contained inaccurate information. And then had rude staff on top of it when I called them out. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars to this clinic over the last three years since I rescued my most recent GSD. I had to see a different doctor almost every time I was there. Now I wonder what real care I received for my dog. Very sad that it had to end like this. I highly suggest you find somewhere else to take you beloved pet!

Very professional group from the front desk check in to the veterinarian. Tons of love and compassion and you can tell everyone wants to help you and your animal no matter the situation. Thank you so much!

I took my pet, who for me is part of my family, the technician who cared for her because the doctor wasn't even there for two vaccines, he gave it to me, three of them did it to me at the reception, they didn't move it to a room and by the way, he wants me to give him three pills to keep him asleep I don't think that's so correct because they even charge you for the visit and they don't even have an assistant, they have bad service

Where do I begin? I have been taking my dog here for years spending thousands of money on everything. My dog had blood work done 2-3 years ago when he started to throw up often. They ran multiple tests of blood work throughout two years and never said a word to me about him having problems. Two months ago, a nurse from this vet comes to me and says that my dog has been having kidney issues from a while ago due to the old results I never been told. So my dog has been suffering for years with a kidney/liver issue that they never seen to tell me. My last visit, my dog kept throwing up. They did not run blood tests and prescribed without diagnosing over 6 prescriptions daily for my dog plus antibiotics and such. And also to switch him to kibble hydrolyzed diet. After seeing my dog lose another 45 pounds, I decided to take my dog to HarbourSide Vet. When they ran tests on him, my dog has a mass in his pancreas. Blood work was the opposite what is should be. He was anemic. Pretty much to say I lost and I am losing my dog now. Thanks to Brown Vet, my dog is dead. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT THEIR LIVES. I REPEAT. I AM FILING A LAWSUIT AGIANST THIS MALPRACTICE AND UNDESERVING FACILITY.
