I rent cars regularly, worst customer service wish I could leave less than 1 star, then just giving everyone a warning don’t be a minute late or they charge $45 and then when you say fine I will keep the vehicle the rest of the day you are told you can’t because it’s closed out. Very unprofessional. In closing they just don’t want return customers, so they earned that I will never do business with them again.

Booked our car for 5. After an hour of waiting they give us a car that isn't cleaned and is in fact quite dirty. And reeks of smoke. Maybe excusable if they were super busy....there were more agents than customers. The car was an "upgrade." I don't want an upgrade, I wanted a clean car an hour ago. Unprofessional

As a frequent traveler who often flies out of Miami due to the airport mess at Rsw with the flight schedules, Avis has become our go-to car rental company, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Counter staff friendly. Confirmed that I could drop car at FBO parking lot without additional charge. Filled gas tank one block from FBO and then dropped at FBO who confirmed return with Avis desk. Two days later get charged fees for dropping at FBO and 5 gallons of gas. My standard practice to save all receipts and take video of vehicle and gas gauge pays off. Had to call and complain to get refund. Again confirmed no charge for FBO. Shouldn't have to spend an hour following up on bogus charges. But if you rent from this location you should expect it 100%.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. My husband and I had a big trip coming so a month before that we went to rent a car. We asked every question possible just to make sure we are doing everything right. We check with the person working at that time and he said everything is good and we made the payment. 2 days before our trip we went again just to double check if everything is alright. The lady at the desk checked saying again everything was alright. Told us that the car will be ready at 9am to be picked up. Great!! On May 23rd my husband goes. to pick it up but they say that we can't have a car because we used debit card even though the payment went trough. We check 4 times with them in person, asked every question possible to make just everything is good. None of them said that it would be a problem even though we asked specifically about it. We left with no car and absolutely horrible experience.

Great customer service at Naples Florida Airport. Really liked my rented vehicle too, the Dodge Durango 2023. However, once I returned it to LBE, nothing but confusion. No instructions on where to leave the vehicle. Went inside to give my keys to someone and the man at the Customer Service did NOT take my info nor the keys. He told me to put the keys in the "Drop Box" that was right there at the counter. So I did as I was told. Left with my family as they met me there to pick me up so they can verify ALL of this! So I ended up keeping the vehicle an extra day (by mistake-thought my reservation was until Saturday @1:45 pm. It wasn't. I returned it Saturday, the following day @ 12:45 pm but now I was charged an "additional" $452.86! So THEY tell me I did not return the car until Tuesday--WRONG! Look at the cameras! Clearly they are wrong. Called AVIS Customer Service and they explained all this to me. Nothing she can do. Now it's two weeks later, now I received a Certified Letter from Avis that I need to return my rental. WHAT?? Seriously? WTH is going on. Two days later, I have ANOTHER charge on my MC (pending) for $17.75 for GAS --Remember, two weeks later now....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Call CUSTOMER SERVICE AGAIN, only to have a man, who could barely speak English, put me on hold more than he spoke to me. Left me on hold til 7:30 pm....which is when they closes, and the phone disconnects! OH MY GOODNESS! Who trains their employees? Fire them! Horrible experience. And it's not even over yet!

I had an excellent experience with Avis pick up and drop off both gentleman were fast efficient and personable. This was make first time using Avis and I was impressed with the prompt service and brand of quality car. Thank you

UPDATE. I received credit But should not have happened in first place….Naples location was spot on professional. They told me to return the car 7/8 full. Filled up to 7/8 before retuning to MIA. I told the person checking us in MIA that I was told to return it with 7/8 full and showed him the jacket saying that. He informed me that it is in the system. So off I went on trip and saw my receipt included $20+ charge for gas. I was not happy. When I returned to Naples airport they placed an appeal for me and weee 90% sure I would be refunded. Thank you Apf location. Burr beware at MIS location

Even though they say on line their cars are 100% free of smoke our car SMELLED BAD, whoever was cleaning and checking their cars missed this one. It smelled of cigarette smoke so bad, even a can of Air Wick DID NOT HELP!

Worst company and customer service in the industry. Scam you in to making full payment through an estimated or “guesstimated” future return date. what they don’t tell you is they won’t refund even a dollar even if you return it early. Even if you have emergency and need to return the car early. Never again. Go to Hertz or others

The whole process for renting is stress-free and well organized. The car could’ve been cleaner and had some issues with the chrome coming away from the window and the front driver seat floor being dirty.

Super easy check in. Extremely friendly staff!!? ? ? ? ?RETURN.... NOT GOOD AT ALL!!! I paid for my car upfront ( $198.00 )... Picked car up on a Friday at 6pm ( 12/2 ) ... Returned the car Saturday 6:30pm ( 12/3 ) ( 24 hr rental key placed in drop box ) I recv'd car with the gas needle on full and returned the car with gas needle on full. ( fuel guage is digital ) Upon receiving the email receipt, I noticed I was charged an additional $69.00. After reviewing the bill, I was charged a Late Fee.. ( $15.00 ) and fuel charge of $54.00!! I also noticed that the car wasn't chk'd in until 5:45pm Sunday!!!! Where was the car for the 10 hours not checked in??? And why was the fuel suddenly missing??? I do have my gas receipt where I filled up tank approx 1 mile from drop off. I called & spoke to an ALEX who in beginning was helpful but suddenly not, telling me that I needed to speak to a manager. ( Kathy ) who has YET to call me!!! POOOOR customer service. When I called back an hour after speaking to Alex, he informed me that she was extremely busy & couldn't take my call.I am due to rent again in 2 weeks and sadly will look elsewhere within the same airport. ( Hertz )Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time in listening.

If you can, go anywhere else but here!! That heavyset white man that sits at the desk has no type of customer service and is prejudice. He made my mother and I wait since it was 345PM and my reservation was at 4Pm. So I waited, no big deal. I get back in line again after someone who came after me (non-melinated individuals) WITH THE SAME RESERVATION TIME. (Mind you it hasn't even been 5 let alone 10mins) They got a car before me and then when I got to the counter he says let me see if i have a car for you. Then has the audacity to give me the smallest car that I couldn't even fit in. Anyway this man always gives me issues and make it a hassle when it comes to renting a car. I cannot help that his life sucks and he looks the way he does. If you don't like your job then quit!!!! Hes lazy and honestly just needs to be fired. Highly unsatisfied member.

I should have read the reviews but have never had a problem with rental cars beforehand. They added $45 dollars for gas when I filled up 5 minutes from the airport. Believe the reviews
