“If you want to step back in time, the Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora is the place to stay. Erected in 1883, the Inn is situated next to the Mount Dora Lake with a great view of the lake and sunsets. It has two other bedding facilities, gift shop and a pool next to the lake with breathtaking views.

Their kitchen prepares a wide variety of American and traditional cuisine. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and they provide multiple places to eat such as the outdoor seating facing the lake and indoor seating at the Tremain's Tavern or the Beauclaire with views of their lush gardens.

The service staff are very attentive and warm ensuring you are comfortable and enjoy your experience in the Inn. We were warmly greeted by Judy and Nicole who acquainted us with the Inn. Kim who served us breakfast, provided tips to further enjoy the town, and Justin went over and above to ensure we had a great food experience and enjoyed our stay.

“The hotel is clean and well-staffed. Luggage carts are available in the entry. Hot coffee and a variety of hot tea is available in the lobby.The room is clean, with a 55" HDTV, Microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee pot.Bonus, the TV is connected to DirectTV with all of the movie channels.”
