This is a great second hand store for anyone starting out in a new apartment or home. There is plenty of everyday items such as cooking pans, coffee pots, toaster ovens, dishware, glassware, cabinets, dressers, and other furniture that will help you get started. Mom and I didn't find anything we needed, but Nancy picked out a nice set of glass bowls and a silverware organizer for the house. The staff were friendly and the store was clean. Its always nice shopping here because the proceeds go to a great cause. We will be back.

A local secret… High end furniture at a reasonable cost. — this is my Dora after all. If I had to do it all over, I would decorate and furnish my house with items from here! Don’t miss out… shop here first!

Fantastic prices, and very helpful volunteers. They offer 40% furniture on the last Saturday of every month. Their hours are a little sporadic, but that's understandable since it is run by volunteers. Just call ahead to double check they are open if you're ever concerned.

I've been a regular at this thrift store for years, but I've noticed in the past year a decline in merchandise, and "affordable items." I miss that, not sure of its new management? Volunteers are very friendly and helpful. I've always felt welcome, and appreciate them being in Downtown. Wish they were open more days of the week.

The Hospice Hope Chest permits temporary parking on their site if you are unloading your donations, or there to pick up. I appreciate the time the staff members volunteer their time, I have found them always willing to assist with a smile. The store is arranged so neatly, and it makes for a pleasant experience. What a great cause to support.

If your drawer was over the other day it was because the two cashiers were so busy talking they forgot to give me my change. It was just a few dollars but after standing there forever waiting for them to at least turn back around I decided time is money and I left.I also stood there for a few minutes waiting to be rung up while the cashiers discussed a duvet cover quite obviously just ignoring me standing there with a giant basket of stuff. It's pretty over priced like most hospice stores but its ok. I can deal with price better than I can deal with lazy and inattentive staff. Selection also is kind of minimal. Mostly glass and artwork. Alot of things I priced on ebay and you could actually get them cheaper there even with shipping so someone is getting a little price happy. Upscale or not I wasn't super impressed.

Small "boutique" thrift with some great bargains and friendly staff. It's well worth the visit when bargain-hunting in Mount Dora.

I walked in this store and was told I need a mask and they would sell me one. All I had was Credit card and they don’t take them so a kind woman offered me a mask . Than another customer came in and they said they didn’t have any masks. That was a lie bc they just offered me one. I told one woman working the counter I was a nurse and she said she didn’t care what I was very rudely. With such a fine program as hospice these two woman were not on their best behavior that day.

This is the best thrift store in the Golden Triangle if you want jewelry and decorative items, Superior glass ware and art work. The Furniture is top quality so if you want couches or run of the mill chairs try elsewhere.

Nice, clean, place with helpful ladies to assit you. Remember vistors to wear your mask. None of us really enjoy doing so but you are a guest of their establishment so just wear itwithout getting upset or upsetting anyone.

Excellent selection of household items, gifts, jewelry, books, art...Just saw they have a large selection of brand new jewelry just in time for holiday shopping! The volunteers who work here are so nice...The proceeds go to Cornerstone Hospice so what better way can there be to spend your time and money. They are very careful about health and safety as they make sure everyone has a mask and there is a plexiglass divider between customers and clerks...
