Had a fabulous weekend getaway to celebrate hubby’s birthday in Mount Dora. Staying at the Adora Inn was a great choice; comfortable accommodations, gourmet breakfasts and warm hospitality made it so. We love a walkable location to town and we walked everywhere! Thank you John and Arthur.

Absolutely great place! The owners are a true joy & absolutely delightful. Upon checkin he gave us a full run down of the best places to eat. The room was very nice, breakfast was fantastic! One of the best bed -n- breakfast places I’ve ever stayed. If in mt Dora - it’s the place to stay.

I had a wonderful visit with John and Arthur at the Adora Inn. I arrived before check-in time, and they graciously let me park in their lot so I could meet up with a friend. The breakfast was multi-course and absolutely delicious (as were the cream puffs I ordered to take to a friend’s home). As others have noted, the inn’s location is ideal. Highly recommend!

We wanted a quick overnight getaway to explore some historic parts of central Florida and the Adora Inn seemed the perfect place to stay. We felt very welcome and comfortable in the beautifully renovated house. It was very close to town and the entire area is very walkable. I am an early morning riser and it was nice to have coffee available downstairs along with a place to read on my laptop. Breakfast at 9 was very good and way more interesting (and good) than anything you would find in a hotel chain. The front porch eating area made it feel like you were transported back in time. Don't stay here expecting all the modern conveniences of a new hotel. Stay here to enjoy a simpler time to match the historic town.

My daughter and I had a lovely, 2-night stay at this charming inn. John and Arthur were exceptional hosts, very welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting with them. The home is meticulously clean, our room and bed were very comfortable, and breakfasts were soooo delicious! An added bonus was meeting their two dogs and greeting them every morning! Adora Inn is a very short walk to everything to see and do in downtown Mt. Dora, so the location was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!

John and Arthur are perfect hosts for this charming and historic bed and breakfast! They did everything to make us comfortable and their recommendations were spot on; we couldn't be happy with our stay. We had the pleasure of staying for two nights and the breakfasts were amazing! Equally amazing was John & Arthur's commitment to spectacular hospitality. We added on the Care foundation animal sanctuary option and believe me, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn about and see beautiful creatures up close. They have over 150 animals on the property, all of which are very well taken care by the dedicated and passionate staff. Our stay in Mount Dora at the Adora was truly the highlight of our trip through Central Florida!Walkability: The Adora is within walking distance of all Mount Dora has to offer, really such a great central location.Food & drinks: The food was a delicious, we ate like Kings!Noteworthy details: Both hosts are dedicated to your comfort. Both are great conversationalists and good cooks! Their recommendations for things to do and great restaurants nearby was so helpful and appreciated.

We went with another couple and all loved Adora. There is not one thing negative I could say. Everything was wonderful! There was fresh coffee and tea in the morning and even a wine fridge to store your bottle if you wish and wine glasses. The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable, even nice touches like fresh water in a carafe next to bed.The inn also was very quiet , you never heard other people coming and going. Top it all off the gourmet breakfasts were amazing each day. Also everyone had their own table to sit at on the comfortable covered porch.Location is excellent, within walking distance to everything. They also have their own parking which was great.Arthur and John were exceptional hosts, we will definitely go again!
