Absolutely amazing! The charm of Mount Dora carries over into every detail at Adora Inn. John and Arthur greet you and welcome you in with a tour of the Inn and share their local knowledge of the best food and shops and local attractions. The accommodations are lovely and the meals served for breakfast are phenomenal! We can’t wait to come back! We fell in love with Mount Dora and Adora Inn!
Rooms: Tastefully decorated and the sheets were so soft!
Nearby activities: Shops and restaurants are easily within walking distance.
Walkability: Downtown is easily a 5 minute walk.

We have been visiting Mt Dora for over 40 yrs and this was our first stay at Adora. It was absolutely wonderful. Our hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. The home and rooms are very clean and inviting. Bed and linens very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. Location is very convenient and we were able to leave the car and easily walk to downtown. Spent 2 hours chatting over breakfast with other guests and hosts You don’t find that at a hotel. Oh and love the dogs. Clean, sweet and very well behaved.

We feel so lucky to have stayed at the Adora Inn. Booking was easy and communication with them before and during our stay was excellent. The house and rooms are beautiful. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is fantastic and they were accommodating to my dietary needs. We were excited every morning to see what was on the menu (and to hear who was on their playlist). Everything was delicious and prepared with care. The house is located just two blocks from downtown Mount Dora. The owners were helpful regarding recommendations and directions. We appreciated all our interactions and conversations with them. I would stay there again without any hesitation and have recommended the Adora Inn to several friends who have also loved staying there.

Not sure I can fault anything, even if I tried. A weekend getaway at Mt Dora just wouldn’t be the same without staying at John & Arthurs’. The house is beautiful and I start feeling the tension melt away as I walk through its door. My wife and I will be back, probably many times, like my parents before us.

Beautiful B&B walking distance from town. My bf and I stayed at the Teahouse room and enjoyed the third floor privacy and view. John and Arthur were gracious hosts and prepared some incredible breakfasts and were available to share some great tips on local attractions and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a delightful time at the Adora Inn for our anniversary weekend. John and Arthur were very welcoming when we arrived, and throughout the weekend they shared recommendations on restaurants and things to do while in the charming town of Mt. Dora. Breakfast on the front porch each morning was delightful - freshly prepared, well presented, hand-made and very delicious. We highly recommend staying here, the decor was relaxing and rightly modern, with the expected touch of history. Loved the art throughout their beautiful Inn which added to the experience. Thanks, John and Arthur!
Safety: Loved the secure parking in the back of the Inn. We brought our bikes which made the whole experience felt very safe.

What a lovely experience I had staying at the Adora Inn. The rooms are clean and well furnished, with nice attention to detail (i.e., carafe of water with glasses by bed, original artwork by one of the owners). It was a treat to enjoy coffee and a beautifully prepared breakfast on the front porch with music playing in the background as well as interesting conversation with the inn's owners and other guests. The Adora Inn is situated on a shady street just a few minutes' walking distance from the heart of Mt. Dora. Thank you for your hospitality, Arthur and John. I will be back!

I had a lovely time at the Adora. The owners made us feel welcome, the room was comfortable and clean, and our breakfast was delicious. Downtown Mt. Dora is just a couple minutes away by foot, as is the lake. I'm looking forward to my next stay!
Nearby activities: Food, drinks, shopping, kayaking, trails, thrifting within walking distance
Safety: Doors to the Inn are kept locked, and require a key to open
Walkability: Downtown is minutes away on foot.
Food & drinks: A hot, freshly prepared breakfast, served with coffee, juice, and water. Tea and coffee accessible in the common area.
Noteworthy details: The owners offer additional services at fair prices, such as having a bouquet of flowers ready in the room or scheduling a local masseuse.
