It used to be a cool old nostalgic gun store to go and just visit before the pandemic. But not anymore. very short supply of everything, guns are overpriced, and the sales people are very standoffish. So I just go there if I am in need of ammo "n walk the F out.

Oldest operating gun shop in America. Kyle a Dave were great. Carey is the owner and he was amazing. He had a giant selection of guns. I came for 1 gun and purchased 3. He also had antique guns in his own museum. Peterson guns is a must stop. Great selection great people. Thanks again guys. I’ll be back!!!

Do not go and if you chose to you were warned. PLENTY of other reviews to back it. Took my AR15 in for a gassing problem and didn’t have the tools needed at the time and was needing for an upcoming trip. Immediately heard rude comments from a guy. Doesn’t know customer service obviously and criticized the finish on my gun. Really? Why even do that? Why disrespect a customer the first time they walk in? That gun was given to me at Christmas by my 21 year old daughter who passed from a heroin OD. I didn’t tell him that I took the high road but it cut deep. I live a new normal now and if you’ve never worn the shoes you have zero clue the effect grieving has on your life. This guy doesn’t know what others may be going through. Never will I spend another dime at this place. RESPECT OTHERS or sell your establishment to someone who has a clue.

Very sad, Been going to this establishment for over 40 yrs and had made many happy purchases. But as of late the service has been trouble and lack of general knowledge is surprising. I will not be going back ever.
