This is a beautiful property with lots of lush gardens space. The owner is awesome and very accommodating. The home is very quite and homey. A great stay.

This was a very pleasant stay! The house is beautiful and spacious with beautiful grounds with magestic pine and magnolia trees as well as a wide variety of blooming bushes. The inside has beautiful polished hardwood floors, high ceilings with crown mlldings and beautiful period antiques.There is a completely functional kitchen with a smart refrigerator. We cooked our breakfast several times. There was washer/dryer available and we had access to all in the house including an entertainment room. The bedroom was spacious as was the bathroom, and the shower was excellent. The linen is of very nice soft cotton.And there is a great Mexican restaurant a block away with two for one margaritas, delicious fajitas, guacamole and flan! Also a French-type bistro serving quiches, sandwiches and pastries; with a gift shop.The hosts are the nicest, most welcoming and hracious people! They made us feel like we were visiting old friends! A real gem!

This home is a fantastic place to call home when you need to be away from home. From an easy booking to checkout, this is one of the best places I've ever stayed. We felt welcomed and like we were friends visiting for the weekend. The house is spacious yet comfortable. It gives a real taste of old world living with all the modern comforts. The drive into Tallahassee is about twenty minutes and we never dealt with any major traffic. This is a must visit if you are in the area. I will truly miss our hosts and hope to return for a visit soon.

The most beautiful place to stay in Monticello, Fl. This home is very versatile and could be used for events as well. The scenery was unmatched and provides a great backdrop for any occasion! The essence of the home gives true meaning to country living and relaxation.

Retreat! Retreat! Retreat! If you are looking for a place that is authentically historical, beautiful with a quiet surrounding, this is the place for you. The host is great and very gracious! He makes you feel right at home! It is definitely a place I will return to annually!
