My dogs were long time patients of Dr. GONZALEZ . A NEW
DR. Rives was hired and was seeing my beloved foxhound.
Bookie had an ongoing ear infection and was seen by Dr. RIVES ON April 30.2024. He used a long scissor and wrapped gauze around it to clean out Bookies Right ear. Yogi the assistant was holding Bookie tightly. He was in absolute panic mode. The Dr did 4 swipes in the ear canal, and Bookie had a massive heart attack.
This was negligent .
He was not sedated and his heart was not checked before the procedure even though I had voiced concerns about his breathing. I have not heard a word from either vet since that awful day. Laurie Schaffer

This was my first visit with this animal hospital, but they came recommended by a neighbor. I'm glad I went with them. Everyone was empathetic and warm and made me feel comfortable while I had to say goodbye to the best girl in the world. My best friend, my true love Jessie James. She was my beautiful 15yr old tuxedo cat who was never sick a day in her life. But, unbeknownst to any of us, her sudden demise took us all by surprise. But it warms my heart to know that she had me by her side and the kind Dr Rivas and the vet tech as well. I miss her so..?

Dr. G is the best. I write this review after he took care of my Rocco for almost 17 years. Several times saving his life until it was the hard decision today that it was time to let him go. Dr. G allowed my family plenty of time to grieve and say our goodbyes and he was genuinely empathetic to our feelings. If you want great vet care, come here. I am hopefully going to get the chance to use his services again when I get another dog. Thank you again for taking care of our little boy, we are sad but know it was the right decision.

horrible very uneducated you don’t need to go 6 year to vet school to learn basic dog anatomy and symptoms. Makes you spend all your money and solve nothing.

I’ve always had a good experience in this Vet. Dr is kind and caring except 3/11/24 at 12:23pm. I walked in to ask if I could get a microchip scanned, I explained that I found a puppy and wanted to reunite her with her family. She said oh no it doesn’t work that way, you need an appointment to see the doctor, create a chart and pay the office visit.
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I walked out so disappointed.
Went to banfield around the corner where they absolutely scanned the pup for free no questions asked.
It’s obvious that receptionists doesn’t belong there. She cares nothing about the animals, not even to take 1 min to ask in the back.
I used to come here but they lost me.

Best Vet ever! For our dog and our cat. The only Vet who helped my dog's ear problem. Others didn't help. Very understanding and caring. Gives us so many tips and avice. The staff is wonderful too. Everyone is an animal lover and caring person. We love them all! Thank God they are here for our fur babies.
