We arrived at the store 30 minutes before closing and he didn’t mind looking for shoe's sizes and showing more options to fit my needs. He understood that I went to two stores already and didn’t find the shoes that I needed.
The manager seemed nice but when I asked her if I need to exchange a size / shoe she replied with a non gentle look (I felt some prejudice) saying that if the shoes are not worn they can receive the shoes ( Her look was pointing as if I will use the shoes and then go to the store and return them, not sure if someone she knows does that but it’s not my shopping style ). I hope no one else receives that look because everyone needs to be treated with respect as we owe respect to everyone.

“Personally, I'm an independent shopper. However, Michelle at this store (1884) went above and beyond to make sure I found just what I was looking for. She demonstrated a genuine desire to help by asking all of the necessary questions at checkout that led to her offering additional help, including to check the inventory at a different Express store if she couldn't find my size in the back. Luckily she did and made my night! She suggested the outlet inventories are extensive and to be sure to ask if the desired size is not on display which I was not aware of. Excellent customer service from a professional standpoint and very kind human being. Thank you Michelle, and thank you Express for your quality.”
