The worst experience ever and what’s more sad that we are on vacation. So on Sunday 8/4/2024 I was there with my daughter who’s 4 years old and my mother. My little one has picked up a toy and I also had some other items. As I walked to the register I seen customer using the check out lane, but as soon as this employee seen me she asked the other employee to lock the register. As I was putting the items on the register I whisper to the employee in a really nice way that I wasn’t taking the doll that my daughter has picked up and I can tell the employee seemed very angry to the point that she threw the toy on the ground. So I asked her why was she so upset and her answer was that she didn’t like the way I whisper to her that I wasn’t taking the toy, so I replied but she’s a child and I didn’t want my little one to cry she keeps arguing that she didn’t like the way I had whisper but to be honest I don’t think that was her issue it seemed like her issue was that I was a Latino person and it seemed to be Racist. She asked me to leave the store just because I asked what made her so upset. Not sure if corporate or the owners even care, but Florida is known for being a tourist location and for someone just to mistreat you for the color of your skin it is not right. I felt so disappointed since I had never experienced Racist by anyone. I hope the owners or supervisors read this message and really have a conversation with this lady. I am also glad she asked me to leave because now Refuse to spend a single dollar at one of this stores.

I was there probably 5 min ago at this store in Miramar Beach ( near holiday rd )
I'm a local person and I live close to this store , the people working there are Amazing ... but today I had the bad experience of one of them and I'm 100% sure is the manager of the store ... the system went down ... first she told me when I arrive JUST CASH ! And I said thank you . ... then when I was ready for pay she said ll the system went down. ... I have 5 items in my arms ... so I leave it next the pay machine ... and then she said Do not left the items there give it to someone in the store ... she was standing next to the machine waiting for the system come back ... well I said ok and I try to look for someone but no one was there .... well I said DO YOU WANT ME TO WALK TO THE WHOLE STIRE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO GIVE THIS ? And she looked at me and she well give it to me now .. the concern is I really don't care if I have to find the person , I really didn't like the WAY THE SHE SAID IT ! I know is stressful for everyone one not just for her but there are manners to treat CLIENTS AND MORE IF THEY ARE CONSUMING IN YOIR STORE AND IL LOCAL I GL THERE KIND OF EVERY DAY ! Hopefully this actitud change !

It is infuriating that they replaced all but one register with self check stations that they won’t open. So every time I come in here I’m waiting in a mile long line at the one working register.. either take the self checks out or open them for customer use.. this is ridiculous

It's tough to get around the store because the aisles are always blocked but get your $5 coupon for Saturdays and it's well worth it. I shop every Saturday for groceries.

At any Dollar General store, you can almost always find the little things you need. And usually some fun stuff you don't yet know you need. Generally the prices are reasonable for most items. However, they always seem to be a little disorganized, sometimes even a bit messy. And they all seem to be lightly staffed. That being said, wandering these aisles is a secret favorite activity ?About this location - not my home store as I'm on vacation. It's much larger than I am used to, and carries way more products, both in categories & selections. The cooler/freezer aisle alone is remarkably well stocked with everything from beer to creamer to pizza to popsicles (including my favs in 3 of these categories which I can't get at 1 store at home). And the employees I've encountered have been above avg in knowledge, helpfulness, and friendliness.4/5⭐ because the aisles are a little narrow for my taste which makes using a cart a little inconvenient, especially when it's busy. Also, they could really use another set of hands to help straighten & restock the shelves. And lastly, the self-check out stations seem to be working only some of the time.Overall, I do recommend stopping in whether you need something or just have a few minutes kill.

The tree to the west of the entrance makes it difficult to see the entrance. As far as Dollar General goes, this one is top-notch. Also there needs to be a cut thru to the drive to the east of the store. Many people miss the entrance and end up parking on the narrow drive to sandy kay.

Good location amazing prices and the employees will go above and beyond to help you. I was in need of a utility knife and they were out. And they gave me some of their used knives to help me.

This store is loaded with essentials! We were staying right next door at an AirBnB , Coastal Breeze Retreat and we were able to walk 3 min away to the store. The cashier was so helpful in showing us which isle to use!. Thank you! We enjoyed our stay in your town

Clean , well stocked ,Frank and a younger gentleman with glasses are helpful.Im a local and really enjoyed the 7 am open time since we don't have anything besides cvs open in the area.Very convenient for healthcare works to stop by before work.
