On a recent trip, I stopped to fuel up and refill my water bottle. Although the store didn't have a water fountain on its soda machine, Sandy was very nice and suggested using some ice and pouring hot water from the coffee pot over it. I was left with a perfectly cold bottle of water for my remaining 200-mile drive to Fort Lauderdale. Thank you, Sandy...worked like a charm.
An unrelated item...as I was pulling out of this particular BP station, I spotted a pair of Interstate 95 shields with the word FLORIDA just above the number 95, which is a somewhat rare find in the Sunshine State. As a highway enthusiast, it's always great to find an elusive state name Interstate shield.
Who knew a simple stop at a random exit would be so enjoyable for this weary traveler?

Ten cent per gallon surcharge for credit cards. Loves across the street doesn't have a CC surcharge. PS the prices on Upside are the cash prices, and you have to use a credit card for upside, so you're not saving any money at all. Just go to the Love's across the street.

Rude people. Refused to take mobile coupons even though the website said they do. EXTREMELY high prices. You have to have THEIR specific card to get the advertised price on gas (not just the regular BP card). FILTHY restroom and store. All around terrible place. Just another example in the decline of America's gas stations. BP shouldn't allow their name on such a nasty place.
