The staff were careful with my cat who is difficult for me. She goes limp and seems to turn into 19 pounds of slime when I do anything she doesn't want to participate in. The doctor is getting her all fixed up, flea treatment, ear mites, rabies shot and antibiotics for a UTI. The techs are the best, they even came to the car to carry in the cage since the handle broke from the weight of the cat. Don't wait to bring your pet here, they will be much happier afterwards. I use Dr. Padgett.

DONT GO HERE!!! Dog broke her leg. They said she needed surgery it would be $1900. They didn’t give me a cheaper option even though I could not afford the surgery. (Amputation was only $700). They didn’t tell me how long it would take for recovery and they did NOT mention that there would be $80 a week due every time they change her splint for the next 6 months. Who can afford all of that? Not me. I went in today because they said if her toes start swelling bring her back to check her bandage and make sure it’s not too tight. So I did because I don’t want her in unnecessary pain. They take her back change her bandage and come back saying another $80 is due for changing it. Didn’t tell me they were going to change it or anything. They just put the splint on on Friday so it’s been 4 days since they put it on. I was not supposed to come back for another week to get it replaced. I stated I shouldn’t have to pay again if it was too tight so they claim it wasn’t too tight it’s because her bandaged slipped down. Again that’s not my fault that yall didn’t put the bandage on good enough to stay in place. The splint it’s self literally is hanging off 3 inches from her thigh of course it’s going to slip down when it’s like that. So I spoke to manager I’m assuming. She comes in and I state I can’t afford another $80 today when I just seen talk on Friday. I wasn’t expecting this bill when it should have been changed a week from today. Y’all should have told me how much this was going to cost me up front because I was not expecting all these extra fees on top of the $2500 I’ve paid for the X-rays and surgery so far. But y’all didn’t tell me anything y’all didn’t even tell me how long the healing process would be. I would have told y’all that day that I could not afford the surgery if I would have known upfront all of the additional fees this was going to add up. So the manager states well man nothing is free. Just like if my child goes into the doctor with a broken arm I have to pay for the doctors time and all the cost of the castings. I said yes I get that but they explain how much upfront it’s going to be. And if I couldn’t afford it you would have had to of given me another option before doing the surgery. WHICH YALL DID NOT!!! If I would have known of all the additional cost involved I would have said no. And then what would you have done? You would have given me a cheaper option such as putting her to sleep or amputating the leg. The manager says ni we wouldn’t if we would have sent you on your way because you couldn’t afford the surgery. So you would have sent me out of the emergency very appointment with my dogs leg dangling in excruciating pain because I couldn’t afford $2500 in surgery plus whatever this is going to cost? No you wouldn’t of you would have said well mam you can either amputate the leg for $700 or put her to sleep for $xxx amount. No doctor in their right mind would tell you to go duck yourself if you can’t afford the surgery. I’ve had a cat with a broken leg before during Covid and they gave me 3 options. ( cast and hope for the best $200, put them to sleep $300, amputation, $xxx, and surgery to repair it $xxxx). Either way I chose my animal would go home with medication for pain and some type of way to move forward with multiple different options for me to decide which I could afford. So you telling me that $2500 surgery is the only option is a down right lie ESPECIALLY when you specially stated when I picked her up from surgery that if she does anything between the next 6 months she could reinjure it and she might have to have it amputated at that point. So you can’t come in there and tell me that amputation is not an option at all because of how it was broken. All they seen when we came in is that someone got approved for care credit and they decided they didn’t care if they could save us money if we couldn’t afford it they got approved for care credit so you get the most expensive option only to maximize your profit. They don’t care about anything but themselves. DO NOT GO HERE!

We took our cat in for a check up and shots all went well on that front. We requested flea medication to put him on and was given a paper prescription to get filled as they only had the initial does and could not fill the prescription. With no real idea what to do with this we called Tractor Supply and was told we had to upload and they would have to verify the prescription. After a couple weeks waiting and not hearing anything we checked with TS to find out what is going on and was told they could not get verification. Spoke to vets office to get told in the rudest manner possible, oh we don't deal with them so you will have to mail it in.Maybe some instructions on how to do that would be helpful, I am not a vet and have no idea how to fill vet prescriptions, that is what I pay a vet to do for me..."what would you say you do around here?" We mailed in the script to TS and have just found out now the prescription has expired?? and we cannot have it filled. Now we have to start the process all over and restart the meds because it has to be done within a specific time frame, per the vet. We will be finding a new vet as we feel this one is not worth giving our money to, but thanks for the learning experience as now we know what to ask and look for in a quality vet.
