Great place to do business! Staff very knowledgeable and friendly! If they don't have what you are looking for, they will order it or tell you where you can find it. Only place I will go.

Came in just to look around, ended up finding an AR-15 I liked quite a bit, they were beyond helpful and cool laidback guys, not pushy or excessive at all with trying to sell me anything, they ended up giving me a really great deal on it and helped me find some other things I was looking for. Very down to earth guys, I would absolutely recommend them.

Great group of guys willing to go the extra mile. I got my first suppressor and a rifle through Grey Man and it's been completely painless. Best prices in town with a wide selection of firearms, suppressors, and optics.

Best shop in the area hands down!!! Excellent prices, pleasant vibe, they're present to sell firearms and accessories clear and simple. There's only one other store that gets my business, and it's located on the other end of the county.

Best prices in town for guns, parts, and accessories. Won't be purchasing parts from anywhere else again. 1-Year Update: Still my go-to shop for firearms. Low prices and high-end selection. They're not looking to take advantage of first-time buyers to sell low-grade firearms.

I always visit when in Florida. I actually get to see some higher end items without mail order. Pretty good selection for such a small looking shop!

Dan and Spence are awesome to deal with. Only gun shop I’ll purchase a firearm from. Have helped source anything they may not have as well, such as optics. Prices are always excellent and customer service is on point.

Good local business, they do their best with the amount of customers they serve; a little patience is needed is all. They are one of the best if not the best gun shop in the Santa Rosa and Escambia area. They don’t price gouge, they are fair on other service offered too (cerakote). From previous reviews of GMA it’s in my opinion those folks lacked patience and didn’t realize it’s at most a 4 man shop trying their best to serve everyone that pops in. Good dealings all around!

Grey mans armory has lost this customer. Took in a pistol to get ceracoated and was quoted 65$. Figured that was a decent price so i left it with them. Went to pick it up today and was charged 110$. On the ticket attached to the gun was clearly still written 65$ that was scratched out and 110$ re written. When asked why the price difference i was told labor to take apart and reassemble. Complete bait and switch. The gun obviously has to be taken apart to apply the coating. Stay clear from this company. Bad service!!!!! To ice the cake after i left they called to tell me to check that the rear sight set screw was tight. Said they couldnt remember if they tightened it or not

TLDR: cheap transfers keep grey man an affordable option as a gun store. Their in store product variety is extremely good and prices match msrp on most things. Sure they can be beat online but if you want to support a local business its not a bad choice. However; customer service is not very good, communication is poor, NFA paperwork takes a long time with them. Personally, I am no longer recommending greyman to my friends when they ask about gun stuff and will recommend pretty much anywhere else that isn’t a pawn shop.Long Story:I have mixed feelings reviewing grey man armory. Over the course of two years they have been my primary FFL. They have one of the best transfer fees in town at ~$30 after tax; however, I have had too many negative interactions pile up overtime to not share my experience.1. I have recommended four friends to gma in the past. Three of which came back to me to tell me that they were treated rudely over the phone. That is unacceptable. The three that told me they were met with a rude and condescending tone/attitude were first time gun buyers (this sets a bad precedent for the gun community and culture) and one of those friends went with another ffl charging $60 for transfers cause the other store treated them with some dignity over the phone.2. Both myself and a friend decided to ship guns through GMA and it took forever for them to get the boxes out the door and on their way. Its frustrating when you pay someone to do something that you could have done more effectively yourself.3. NFA: for my first supressor, it took them an extremely long time to get done with their side of the paperwork and added a month and a half to the already atrocious wait time and bureaucracy associated with purchasing an nfa item. I wasn’t too broken up about it until I utilized another ffl for my second and third suppressors and they were very timely and efficient. Most recently, I asked them to get an sbr engraved. They told me it would be done by the end of the week. A week and a half later I go in to find out that my trust and city name are spelt wrong on the gun. That isn’t gma’s fault directly but they are ultimately responsible for who they outsource the work to. Luckily the engraver offered to cover a cerakote job so it could be re-engraved. After talking with gma and deciding on a cerakote design, I was quoted two weeks to paint/reengrave. Three weeks later I went in and the gun was only sandblasted awaiting painting; on top of this I was informed that the paint job would be black because the stencils for a pattern were “out of stock”. A quick google showed they were in stock and brought it to their attention but was ignored. Two weeks after that I finally got my gun back. The paint job was good, not what we agreed on but it was free. Sadly the black wasn’t as cool as the original coat on the gun… but the engraver spelt my name right so that counts for something. As I was leaving I was called back into pay for the engraving. I assumed it would be free as they outsourced the engraving, messed it up, took a month and change to get my gun back to me in a configuration I really didn’t want in the first place. At this point paying was fine if it meant I got my gun back! The overall situation was very frustrating and was a last straw for me in my dealings with grey man and will have to look to another ffl for my future needs.I hope that they are able to improve their communication, customer service, and paperwork efficiency so less people have to go through the frustrations that I have. I appreciate the services they have completed for me, I just know the experience could be better. If you need something done, they can do it, just don't expect it to be painless.Edit: as seen by the response below: none of these timelines or policies were ever communicated and emphasizes the lack of communication you receive when working with gma. I am also disappointed to see such a deflection of any wrongdoing and no ownership of responsibility.

Bought a used handgun from there, very satisfied. If you're in the AR market, these guys have a lot of quality components.

The owner has the worst ADD I’ve ever seen, will literally walk away from you mid conversation and tell you he has other people “in front of you”. Do not consign with him, a buddy has waited a year for a COLT PYTHON to get listed with no gunbroker posting and no communication. He berated me in the store in front of customers, telling me I’m impatient after waiting for over 30 minutes to handle a simple transaction that he “disappeared” into his back office for with no courtesy comms. He whines about his customers openly in his store after they’ve left - No wonder he didn’t cut it in the military. I’ve seen him berate his employees in front of me as well, beyond unprofessional. The clock is ticking on his business.
