I tried to checkout at the 4 self checkout as all the stations were cleaned and ready to use, screens working, bags fully stocked. I tried to scan multiple items and nothing was working. So I walked over to the like of 5 people (quickly figured out why as the girl behind the counter moving at sloth speed and looked half asleep). I then asked if the self checkouts were working. Stephanie, the cashier, replied “no.” “The numbers up top are covered for a reason.” IF THEY AREN’T FUNCTIONAL PUT UP A SIGN OR COVER THE SCREEN. Easy. Dont be so rude when customers ask. If they keep asking……sounds like there is an issue that needs addressing. Get some sleep.

Definitely my favorite local DG. You can find an employee when you need one. The shelves are well stocked. They honor the deals they offer.

I can tell you there are two other Dollar Generals that are closer to my house then the Dollar General Marketplace on dogwood. I have learned I need to just drive to the marketplace every single time. They are the only store that is ever stocked properly. They are the only store that is not storing product on their floor. I can't tell you how many times I have been in the middle of cooking and needed one ingredient. Only to find my self stoping at 4 different stores and wasting my time.

The Dollar General has everything plus more, with the professional organization skills Miss Stacy has along with Alan, Kerry, Sue , Charlie. There’s always a problem with ordering online. I can never seem to get the order I placed the night before, on time the following day for pickup. This has happened over five or six times. The order gets canceled automatically and your payment is on hold until the store release’s your funds. Not good business practice.
