I recommend you do business with another bank, altogether. I went in to close my checking acct a week ago. They, had closed my acct on their own and kept my money without calling me or writing or even a request to do so. Their excuse is they didn't have to and they are too busy to follow that professional protocol..

Actually loved the staff at the Pace branch. Greeted you when you came in the door, thanked you for your business. South State should have kept those employees instead to laying them off and transfer them to Milton and layed Milton off.Milton you are not greeted. They act like you are a bother.

Don’t get a account with them, better off with other banks. They will rob you to your face, for example they waited until I withdrew cash to have a bill go though so they could get the overdraft payment. Don’t go with them, they have horrible customer service and wasn’t willing to help. I have been disappointed with this bank again and again. I urge anyone looking at this bank to look for anything other than South State. Surely disappointed!

I just switched to this bank about 5 months ago.One of the reasons was for their late lobby hours, and Saturday lobby hours.Stopped by Saturday and found out they changed their banking hours.Now they close at 5 and are closed on Saturday.Kinda hard to do your banking business in person when you work till after 5 everyday.There are some things you need to do ,that you cannot do thru the drive thru.So now people have to leave work early or take a day off work? Centerstate has merged with more banks and since then I have not been able to use online banking.They need to take care of the customers they have now instead of adding new banks.

CenterState Bank is by far the worst institute I've ever had to deal with. Charter Bank was focused on streamlined service dedicated to the customer, but once CenterState took over all that went out the window. No more real-time instant deposits via the app, nothing but issues with our debt cards working since the take over. We are actually closing our accounts and joining a new bank, unfortunately we now have to redo all our direct deposit information with our employees but that minor headache is still better than dealing with a bank who has no concept of customer service.

This center state bank is garbage. If your business relies on cash flow in a timely manner... Skip this bank. It takes them days to receive money that is sent and pending. Also the free all point atm usage is gone once you get your new center state bank. All in all is now a 0 star bank. My account should still operate the same as it did when it was charter... I should still get the same features and functions I signed up for.

Since the bank has changed from Charter Bank to Centerstate Bank, I've lost track of my funds, as their banking app is very confusing. Never had trouble of any kind with Charter. My advice is to square up with the new owners and find another place to do your business.

When I first got this bank account they transferred a few thousand dollars into someone elses account which made purchases difficult. Secondly, the chair they gave me as a welcome gift broke, and, last but not least, they are preventing me from making purchases online which is the main reason I have a bank account in the first place because banks are spawns of Satan's pawns. I, literally, hate this bank. I would suggest going anywhere else.

Be aware, Google has the Monday through Thursday hours wrong. I should know by now not to depend on that.
