All shooters must register to fire a weapon at Talon. There will be no “drive by” practice.Membership is definitely in the budget.I could go on and on but I highly recommend you go out and see for yourself.

I looked at all the ranges in the area and I am very happy that I choose Talon.The people there know their stuff. So friendly and helpful. Great shooting areas and lots of great rentals. They offer class for first time shooter or something to improve your skills. Well this was my two cents. I'm off to the range. Happy shooting.

Been twice, had a wonderful experience both times. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, even when the pro shop is packed and an event is going on. They make you feel like you’re the only person there. Rented a rifle (AR-15 w/ red dot and AR-15 w/ Sig Sauer 1x22 scope) and two handguns (Glock 22 Gen 4, M&P 380 Bodyguard, .38 special, and a S&W 9mm) both times. Purchased all ammo and targets at the pro shop. Loved it so much the second time, I became a member! Can’t wait till next time.

Zach McMillan, the man behind the counter today, was very courteous. Arriving to shoot some reloads I made last week, I realized I had misplaced my cell phone. I asked if I could use the office phone to call my wife to see if it was still in the house somewhere. If not, perhaps it's on I-10 somewhere. Zach offered his cell phone to allow me to contact my wife. She didn't answer so I left a voice mail. About 45 minutes into my practice, Zach arrives at my range station to inform me not to worry. My wife returned the call (on his phone) and said she had found the phone. Zach graciously came to my shooting station to inform me. That is terrific customer service and I'm very grateful to Zach. It put my mind at ease to know the phone wasn't lost, just forgotten. Zach is an outstanding young man, eager to please. Thank you!!

Friendly staff, excelent outdoor facility. I used lane 15 pistol range with steel targets, Awesome setup. I will return when I am back in town!

I've been to many ranges outdoor/indoor and used to belong to an expensive conservation club and this is by far the most well laid out range I've ever been to. I love the fact that every shooter/group gets their own lane. There's nothing more annoying than getting hit with 7.62 brass from the guy to your left throwing lead down range rapid fire and now he can do that without inconveniencing anyone else with hot brass or constant concussive blasts. Will definitely be coming back.

Love the place, the staff are great, super chill as long as you are being safe and respectful. Love the 400 yard range. Hope one day Talon will have an even longer range because I don’t want any other experience than the consistent excellence I get at Talon.

To simply say that Talon Tactical is staffed by professionals who not only teach like pros, but present themselves and train like pros would be a gross understatement. Any question that a gun newbie or a seasoned shooter could fathom of, they can not just answer, but show you how! They treated my mom and sisters with upmost respect, myself included. The training is presented seriously and provides oodles of information for any learner to take on and absorb. From classroom, to simulations, to the range, Talon Tactical is your go-to buddy to suit any of your needs.

I was very hopeful when I called and they told me that they had what I wanted, I don’t know if it was a miscommunication on my part or what but they did not have the piece that I was in search of. This was not an issue whatsoever because I know things happen and I probably was the one who was mistaken over the phone. I was disappointed after I had driven over an hour away just to get to this store and I had gotten there around 6:40 because I got off of work later than usual so this is 20 minutes before closing time. So after I realized that it was probably me who had made the mistake I asked the man at the counter to try to put it on again to make sure it didn’t fit and he made sure to make me look like a fool and say in a nasty tone “well since you weren’t paying attention the first time I’ll do it again for you” and he commenced to shoving a piece that now pretty obviously didn’t fit into a 1500 dollar suppressor that I had brought in to show me that it surely did not fit. He then commenced to assure me that I had no idea what I was doing and that I shouldn’t use that suppressor for the rifle I had brought in. He made sure to tell me that for just a few hundred dollars I could get another suppressor after I had waited a year to receive this one. And that he had multiple suppressors and knew what was best and I should just buy a new one. They had a nice looking store that I planned to look around in and maybe buy something else along with the hundred dollar adapter I had hoped to get today. I was still planning on looking through the store even if the piece didn’t work I had driven a hour to come here so I wanted to make the best of it. I decided to just go ahead and leave because it was apparent that I should not be in that store with the lack of gun knowledge that I had. Hopefully he had just a long day or a bad day. Or maybe he thought he could just talk to me however he felt because I was young looking and probably had no idea what I was doing. Hopefully he doesn’t treat every young person in there like that. I really wish the interaction would have went differently because like I said earlier they had a nice store and I would have liked to buy things in there in the future and maybe I will but the way that I was treated in there today wasn’t acceptable under my standards and even though I am young and don’t know what I’m talking about when it comes to guns, I do know how to interact with people and be respectful and polite no matter how bad my day was. Hopefully this matter was a fluke and somebody sees this and decides to work on their customer service. I wish them the best.

I took the Basic 1/CCW course and can’t say enough about the professionalism of the trainers. The course was informative and the instructors were very hands-on, demonstrating all aspects of a gun (both in the classroom, on the range, and during scenarios). I highly encourage everyone to go to Talon for training; they were top notch!
