I've been coming to this store/pharmacy for several years but haven't ever needed help from pharmacy. Today came in to the store in a panic after my 1 year old son started having an allergic reaction, his face was red and swollen with welts, and I brought him up to the pharmacy counter and asked the person behind the pharmacy counter where the childrens benadryl is, they just said "its behind you" and walked away. After a while found what I thought was the right bottle and brought it to the pharmacy and they just said no, that not right, but didn't offer to help. No one helped even though I was obviously panicked and on the verge of tears (and toting a toddler with a red, welted, swollen face). Finally a customer noticed how distraught I was and that no one was helping so she helped me find it.

You will go around in circles for 30 minutes waiting for someone in pharmacy to answer your call. It wasn't always this way, only more recently. They will pick up the phone and then hang up on you again so you go back into queue. They will do it over and over again. And you will never get your answer. You'll end up driving all the way there and have to ask them in person a question that could take 5 seconds over the phone. Walgreens should provide additional support to their pharmacy staff so they can better support their customers.

The absolute WORST pharmacy staff imaginable. Incompetents misplaced my copay card then claimed then gave it back after trying to make me pay more for an insurance copay as opposed to using the copay card only. Will NEVER use them again!

I am writing a review on Pharmacy of Walgreens on the corner of Cty Rd 228 & Blanding Blvd.I have been having to call monthly to remind the pharmacy to fill my monthly 28 day medication cycle. For example: My last script was dated 05/31/2023. 28 days from then is June 28.Today is July 1.I want to insert here, I’ve very rarely had a problem with Walgreens pharmacy. If I have, it was a very minor reason.I have, in the past spoken with a male Pharmacist ( on the phone) and he was very cordial.Today, I called and explained the above to a young lady whobtold me they don’t go by the 28 day cycle, but go by p/u date if the orior month. I explained that doesn’t make sense, because if my husband is late picking it up ( by a few days) doesn’t mean MY SCRIPTS WEREN'T DUE AT 28 days. Here is my mindset.Every 28 days, picked up or not, I am due ( and should have my medication ready) EVERY 28 days. The first young lady stated ‘well, according to your last month pick up date, you should still have medication unless it’s not taken properly.’The remark made me so angry.I, of course, do have medication and I have NEVER EVER MIS-TAKEN my medication. I have gone to Coastal Spine & Pain for 8 yrs. Dr Greene just told me on my last visit that I am one of his ‘star’ patients. So, to imply that I am ‘over taking’ my medication is assuming and it’s disrespectful. So, I was upset. I called back and talked to another young lady and she went through the same thing again and implied the same thing again. So, I asked to speak to her manager.A young lady identified herself as the ‘General manager.I told her, ‘I understand .. I am educated with a college degree. I think I can count to 28 days’So, YES I DO HAVE EXTRA MEDICATION.NO I DONT OVERUSE MY MEDICATION.She said they are ‘doing me a favor by giving it to me a day early.’She also implied I ‘shouldn’t be out of my medication.’I’m not!I resent the IMPLICATIONS of all 3 of these women. My reason for this review is:1: These 3 women implied I was mis-taking my medications.2: I AM ENTITLED TO MY MEDICATION MONTHLY. THE TURN AROUND TIME FRAME FOR MY MEDICATIONS IS: 28 DAYS.PERIOD! End of subject! So what if my husband is late picking up my medications..I AM ENTITLED TO HAVE MY MEDICATIONS READY EVERY 2 days regardless! And these women talking to me like I’m an idiot is RUDE & UNCALLED FOR.Al i want is my medication EVERY 28 days!I am posting 2 picks to back up my explanation. You can plainly see that I have extra medication and you can plainly see if has been 31 days since the date on my bottle… until today, July 1! My concern is that I am having surgery on Wed, July 5 th and there is a reason I need it now.. today. Because I am TRYING to have all of my business handled prior to my surgery daye.Yes, I understand that I will have it tomorrow. My POINT IS I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CALL EVERY SINGLE MONTH SEARCHING FOR MY MEDICATION.How come the folks at at that pharmacy refuse to understand my explanation which is ( once again I will say it:). I AM ENTITLED TO RECEIVE MY MEDICATION EVERY 28 DAYS. I don’t care if the sky falls, if there’s a natural disaster, if anything bad should happen ( ' including the fact that my husband may be a few days kate in picking it up. As long as I go to my monthly and it is sent to Walgreens monthly… then MY MEDICATION SHOULD BE READY FOR PICK UP EVERY 28 DAYS.I have tried to explain this simply to avoid hearing the same song.I am attempting to explain so ‘someone / anyone ‘ can understand what I am saying without accusing me if ‘using my medication up and implying ‘you should still have your meds!’ I DO STILL HAVE SOME!I AM TRYING TO GET MY BUSINESS HANDLED PRIOR TO MY SURGERY AND EVERY SINGLE 28 DAYS MY MEDS SHOULD BE READY FOR PICK UP.If you send me an email address, I’ll be happy to share the photos. I was terrified when nerve pain started in my hands and feet. Doctors and specialists could not figure out where it was coming from and still can’t. Plus, I have cystitis in my bladder and cannot tolerate anything acidic including artificial sweeteners and some additives. When trying new medicine it is trial and error. The pharmacy helped me rule things out. They were kind and patient in dealing with my difficulties. I am grateful for their help, especially Ashley’s. Thank you for your compassion and understanding.

Called in Monday. They told me to come by in 2 hours. I drove over there and the medicine is out of stock! They said they'd have to order it and it would be in "tomorrow." No one called me and told me that so I drove over there for no reason. I called and checked to see if my prescription was ready the next two subsequent days and it was still out of stock and supposedly being ordered and would be there "tomorrow". I called Publix and had my prescriptions transferred over there since they're much better at communicating and actually check and know if they have the medication on hand, which they do.

I'm so tired of dealing with some of the staff here. They think they know more than the doctor and patient. I have had enough of the condescending attitude from some of the pharmacy staff!......this place is pretty great now the managers are really good and staff is too. I haven't encountered any rude behavior since that one time. So, I want to update my stars to 2 to 4.

Went to buy a box of insulin needles since I am diabetic. And after calling and getting told yes they had them and yes I could buy them I get there and the pharmacist tells me I can only buy 1 pack and wanted to know where I got my insulin and why I couldn't go there and get my needles. AND Wanted my ID. THIS IS INSANE!!!Not A Druggy!! Just A Diabetic!!!

The staff at this location are downplaying the safety of patients by never admitting or correcting their mistakes. Twice I had to complain about my child's prescription for oral solution antibiotic running out before the adequate time. They were very rude and basically said they never ever make mistakes at their pharmacy and that I would have to call provider for another bottle of antibiotics. If my child does not receive antibiotics in a timely manner " that is not " their problem . I would rather drive another 15 min to go to Walgreens in Fleming Island ( where I never had this problem happening) than dealing with lazy and rude staff at this Middleburg location. Sad.

Horrible pharmacy staff and pharmacist very unprofessional, rude, and egotistical. They all have attitudes and run late on your prescriptions and tell you to come back “in a hour or two”. Never once have they had a prescription on time. When I called to speak with the pharmacist to understand what was going on with my prescription, she him go up on me.
