After doing a lot of research and calling around (and praying a LOT), I finally decided to give Clay County Transmission on Blanding Blvd. down in Middleburg a try. I cannot say enough good things about this shop or its owner, Dave Loving. Dave was professional, honest, and timely. He isn't afraid to answer questions and was very patient with me. He got to the bottom of my transmission's true issue and saved me thousands of dollars for which I am so, so grateful. (He could have easily pulled the wool over my eyes and said I needed a whole new transmission, but he didn't.) I am a tough customer but only have good things to say about this shop and heartily recommend it. My car now runs great!

Recently had a transmission rebuilt with torque converter. The original TC failed causing loss of 3/4. I went up to talk about cost and was pleasantly surprised by the estimate. The following week I dropped the truck off and within 72 hours the truck was back on the road. I have put about 800 miles on the truck with no issues.
Great price, quick work and knowledgeable owner. Highly recommend!

Had my clutch redone 40k miles ago in November of 2022. A few sensors were not plugged in, that was the first issue.
Fast forward to me having time to get my clutch pressure on the pedal looked at or adjusted, Dave, the owner, said I was stupid and I read to much about my car. He said since my clutch had 40k miles on it, that it would need replaced. My first clutch lasted me 230,000k miles. Either he sells poorly made parts, or he was trying to trick me into doing a bigger job than what needed done. To all the ladies.. hire a man to drop your car for servicing at this location, Dave was NOT trustworthy.

Ended up needing a transmission rebuild on my Chevy truck ( imagine that). Dave and the folks at clay transmission on blanding got the work done in less than 2 days and saved me a pile of money doing it a lot cheaper than Chevrolet would have done it. Can’t ask for better service or better people so i highly recommend them

Was referred to Clay County Trans by a friend because of their reputation and years in business. Spoke to Dave about having my transmission rebuilt he was very knowledgeable and helpful with what he believed was my issue.There was a miscommunication on the price quote however Dave acknowledged his mistake and we discussed the situation and he expressed his desire to have a satisfied customer and he made an adjustment to the price that was good for both of us.The job was completed on time and is driving like brand new. I left there and was very happy with the experience. I will definitely recommend Dave and Clay County Transmission for automotive repairs.

Extremely satisfied. Dave was very honest. Could of sold me a rebuilt transmission but didn't. I wouldn't of known better. He didn't try to take advantage. Was like speaking to a friend. I will be taking my truck there for any future service. I HIGHLY recommend Clay County Transmission.
