I was super excited to go to the Restore because I was familiar with the ones on the West Coast. But I was really disappointed by how overpriced each item was. Many of the items could be found less expensive and in better condition at stores like Goodwill, Teen Challenge, or Haven. Also no public restrooms due to chemicals? You could potentially store the chemicals elsewhere and offer a bathroom to your customers.Work on offering more to your community.

This place doesn't have much of anything. The selection was terrible. Didn't find anything worth getting and I've been to others that were phenomenal. Don't know why this place was lacking maybe just a bad location

These are donated items, yet prices are worse than other stores around. They never have sales or mark anything down.

The prices are quite high for what they have to offer and no public restroom. Not sure if I'll be back

Open early, a lot of things to look at. Prices seem high though....Who operates a business in Clay County without Public Restrooms???Should be against the law....

This is a new addition in the area between Orange Park and Middleburg. They have quite a few neat home decoration items and furniture. They also have books for a most reasonable price!

First time going today and I was pleasantly surprised by what they had. Old tools, new fixtures, new home goods, new flooring, cabinets, nice furniture, books for .40 cents, antiques and a lot more. What i was surprised about the most was how many new or lightly used items they had. Prices were very reasonable and the staff was friendly. I think this will now be my go to thrift store. Best part is it supports a good cause. **Note: No clothes or exercise equipment.

We came to find this Habitat store while driving by one day. We happened to need a certain size door that needed to be special ordered because of the odd size but we needed it right away. We were actually on our to order the door and thought we would stop in and take a chance of finding one in here or even find just a temporary fix until the special ordered size door came in. Well we got lucky & extremely blessed to have found the exact door we needed. It was used but in good condition after we cleaned it up and painted it you could not tell that it was used at all. It did take some elbow grease on our part but I'm sure it saved us some $$ and the money we spent on it went to a great cause. We did find the prices to be on the higher side even some things priced as if they were new from the Home Depot or Lowes when clearly they were used but maybe they do that so you can negotiate on the price which we did not because like I said we needed a door right away since the original one damaged and no longer in working order. They have a large variety of things in here some new and some very old and used. Lights, fans, appliances, doors, furniture and office furniture, cabinets, rugs, faucets, sinks, flooring. Check it out you might find something you can reuse.

Warning to anyone who hasn’t been in a while: Don’t go expecting a good deal on anything in the store. Go to Goodwill instead! We *loved* this place in 2021. We lived nearby and visited frequently. We could always find things we wanted for our home, at prices we could actually afford. We were sad to leave the store behind when we moved 2.5 hours away at the end of last year.Recently, we made the long trip JUST to visit our favorite store, and it was beyond disappointing. It was really bad. I don’t know what’s changed but in the past year, prices are seriously *many* multiples higher than they were when we last visited. This is far beyond what could be called inflation price changes. Everything in the store is a DONATION to the store, and it seems that management or ownership has changed and absolutely forgotten that fact. It used to feel like a treasure hunt, and now it feels like a massive cash grab. For almost everything we looked at, the price did not reflect the condition of the item. NO good deals to be found. Last year, I got kitchen chairs for $15, and now they are priced at $40. Used chairs (which I know for a fact that Goodwill is selling for $15-20 right now). Last year, I got a brand new huge sectional for $250, and now a small loveseat is priced at $200. Exactly 1 year ago, I found a power wheel for my daughter for $25 and I guarantee it’d be $150 or more today. The attached photos are just one example of the outrageous prices being charged for this stuff. $50 for a beat-up wooden toy stove! Goodwill used to be subpar compared to the Restore, but now they have better treasures to hunt, at FAR lower prices. It was a huge waste of time and gas to make the trip out here, and that’s so sad. I used to sing the praises of the Clay county Restore, and I can’t do that as of 2022.

I visited today for the first time and picked up so many great pieces: wall mirror, dresser, stacking tables, lamps, glassware, birdcage... I'm very happy with all of my purchases. Great prices and wonderful staff! ❤️ The attached photo shows some of the pieces I picked up today except the perfume and the black lamp shade. I picked up this lamp shade from City Thrift and spray painted it black. Love thrifting! It's like treasure hunting ?

They’ve brightened up the store recently. It’s a welcome change!Bring a pair of hands to help you out, a few of the isles are a bit thin and hard to navigate if you have a walker or wheelchair. Most of their stuff is very nice, and not garbage. I’m fairly certain they use eBay or a similar site when it comes to pricing. You can find some deals, but it’s few and far between.
