“I was recommended to R&L by a friend because I needed to fix a Rolex I have that my grandfather left me. The gentleman that helped me took the watch in and I left it to get fixed. As I was in the jewelry store I noticed they had a lot of beautiful things in there so I started looking around. Another gentleman came up to me and started helping me with the jewelry. As he was quoting me prices, I realized that they were very reasonable so I bought a few things. I decided to buy a couple jewelry pieces and another Rolex that they had there. After me paying, I left the store. They called me back the following day telling me my watch was ready and that it was a simple fix. That's why it was ready so quick. I ended up taking two other watches to get fixed that belonged to my wife. One was just the battery but the other one they had to work on for a week. The mechanism inside was ruined but they were still able to fix it. They had replaced it with the same mechanism that the watch had originally. These are the things that I've gone through in the matter of times that I've been there. Writing all of this I want to let you know that I found Rafael Jewelry & watches to be an amazing place to either get my watch fixed, by a new watch, and the service was impeccable. Everybody whose in there knows what they're talking about. They all know what they're doing and they treat you so gracious. The prices, the people, the merchandise and their service is amazing. When you walk into the place it's not a big place for a jewelry store, not small either, but it is a super clean place. It's the type of place that makes you return because of all the things I mentioned and how you're treated there and their prices. I'd like in closing to say this. I am a very shrewd person; when people tell me something I usually find out if it's correct. “Joel is the man! I had been looking at watches for a while. I went to a lot of shops: Mayors, Rolex, Omega, jewelry stores, small local shops, etc. In many cases I felt that the vibe was standoffish at best.
But when I walked into the GS boutique, Joel greeted me, invited me to have a seat, let me try on anything I wanted to, we had a nice chat about watches, family and life in general. I was already pretty sure a Grand Seiko was going to be my next watch (spring drive is incredible, the dials, the finishing, the value, the sweep, etc), but Joel was so well versed on all things GS and he gave me a dozen more insights into the quality of the watch that made it an even easier decision. I never felt rushed or pressured. It was just a couple of guys sharing their mutual love of watches.
Overall, Joel delivered the kind of personal experience you dream of when you imagine buying a luxury heirloom like a Grand Seiko.”
