This review is for the nurse practitioner. Denying care to someone that walks in because "they are completely booked " is so messed up . Why offer walk ins if you are not willing to take them ?

Good costumer service and great selection, I was greeted and the attendant was super friendly even though I went in late at night in a rush, that always makes the experience good when the employees are super friendly.

This Pharmacy has improved a lot. There is a lady called Ms Claudia in the Pharmacy and she is on top of everything; today she personally figured out an insurance issue to be able to dispense my antibiotic. She makes sure pharmacy customers line is moving and also is the one who does the vaccines. An amazing proactive Caring Professional. Thank you.

This review is for the pharmacy. Every time and it doesn't matter what time I go, I always have to wait a loooong time to pick up my prescription. They have most of the time only one person behind the counter. Even if there is only one person in front it's still a long wait time, it's unbelievable

If I could rate this pharmacy with a big 0 I would, the pharmacy staff is the most horrible staff I have experienced beginning at the top with the red hair lady to the bearded fu@ck that's always extremely arrogant! I have used them for years as it used to be convenient. I have several health issues and I need meds on a weekly basis, I use pill pack for all my regular meds, but on occasion my illnesses require immediate medication and the doctors send to what I have on file. I kick myself in the ass every single time I end up going there, it's so stressful it makes me more ill. The simple act of picking your meds from them takes 30 minutes with no one around, they scan your prescription here there and every where, very disgusting and disgraceful staff the whole store should be fired as I write this I'm going on 1 hour and a half waiting on phone I used another phone to call and it's the same, oh and god forbid you go through the drive through, you will sit in your car waiting about 45 min to an hour

If I could give negative stars I would I've never been spoken to so disrespectfully before. When people are sick and they are trying to get their medicine they don't need an older man yelling at them. They need someone who is going to be pleasant attentive and more importantly patient. I spoke with supervisor of the pharmacy really sweet blonde lady and she went right to work on my medications even apologized for CLAUDIO the man working the drive through and his behavior. He was so rude he made me want to cry while I'm sitting there waiting for my meds sweating out a fever he yelled at me and told me I couldn't just hold up the line to call my doctor to verify something. I hope no one ever treats one of his family members the way he treated meToday.

Terrible customer service. So much so that while inside the store, I ordered items online (to be picked up curbside) in order to avoid dealing with such incompetent, rude employees. Once I placed the order and it was time to be picked up, I received a subsequent message stating that the order had ALREADY been picked up. Oh Really???? When I got to the store for pick up, I called them and they hung up on me. I had to go back inside the Godawful store just to find out they had lost the order. Overall it was a VERY VERY BAD Experience and I will NOT return to the Walgreens on Sunset Drive and SW 117 Avenue ever again

Pharmacy held medications almost a month now and has given me conflicting information each time I have gone to pick it up. Also I am being charged 250 for a prescription that cost 35 dollars. I am never using any Walgreens pharmacies.

I happened upon this Walgreens through a series of unfortunate events. At the end of all the hurdles and obstacles I had faced, I am very glad (and very satisfied) with this Walgreens pharmacy. From my parent's house, this particular Walgreens is 3.4 miles away. And although we have a 24hr drugstore even closer to us, this specific Walgreens happened to have a specific medication I desperately needed on hand. In a series of about 7 phone calls between a specialty pharmacy I was formerly using and my prescription insurance, it finally came to a point where I needed to use a local pharmacy (e.g. Walgreens) to dispense this medication. You see, although I am originally from Miami, I live out of state and was only in the area for a week for vacation. We even had plans to travel internationally from Miami, so it was vital that I got my medication before we left the country. In the many disappointing calls I've made to my former specialty pharmacy, I called the local Walgreens to see if they had the medication. They referred me to this specific 24hr Walgreens and lo and behold, they had the medication!--albiet, in a different injector mechanism but still the same medication nonetheless. You have no idea how relieved it was for me to find out they had the medication on hand and how precessional/caring they were to work with me in getting to transfer my prescription from the specialty pharmacy to this Walgreens pharmacy (because all this rush to get this accomplished was done the day before our international travel). All I had to do was call my doctor just to change the dispensing medication to the auto inject that was already available at this pharmacy. Within 2 hours, they got to process the prescription and insurance and I was given the update through text and email that my medication was ready for pickup. You best believe I rushed right over ASAP, provided them with the co-pay assistance card from the manufacturer of this medication and was able to leave without paying out of pocket! I know I've only used this particular Walgreens pharmacy once, but through the phone calls during the process and even with my face-to-face interaction with the pharmacy techs there, I'd say my experience was truly extraordinary. Even when I was waiting in line, it went at a decent pace. And as the line grew after I was already tended to, more pharmacy techs were able to assist other patients in line. I love that they have a drive-through pickup at this location because it would make running errands a bit easier for stay-at-home mommas like me. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my services at this Walgreens. I highly highly recommend you consider this pharmacy for your prescription and health needs. You can trust that you'd be in good care.

They seriously need to hire more people in the pharmacy. I sat at the drive thru (2 lanes were open) and for over 15 minutes no one even came to the window. I pressed the call button and it just rang and rang. Honked my horn and still nothing. Having cvs who actually answers the phone transfer the rx if Walgreens answers them...
