I was selling my 2017 Porsche 718S and the buyer from Atlanta wanted to do a PPI before coming doing to pick up so he found this place base on good comments at Porsche forums. I came on the day and time scheduled, was greeted by Wayne, he asked me a few questions and gave me a form to sign. Then he dropped me off at a near by restauran so I could have lunch during the inspection time. It took about 4 hours so by the time he finished I was at The Collection, when he called to let me know it was almost done I asked him if he could pick me up since it was raining, he said yes!So the process was long but he made it very convenient and the buyer liked everything he had to said about the car so the deal was made and everybody is happy!

Wayne and the team swapped out my 2006 997 3.8L engine with a spun main bearing for a rebuilt Vertex engine. My engine damage cost me half of the core charge adding 3k to the job. Excellent communication and visual evidence of the problem. Round trip shipping was about $1500 from Dallas to Miami and back, but still substantially less than anyone would do it for locally. After install, the techs drove about 200 miles to begin a proper breakin before sending her home. If you're getting an engine, might as well send the car. About 5 weeks total, but could have been longer if I wanted to rebuild my original engine. We did a full brake job too, rotors, pads and sensors. I asked to change the cabin air filter and fix the slow return drivers seat belt retractor, neither of which happened. They gave very specific instructions on oil changes and operating ranges for the next 2,000 miles and I'm following those guidelines. Just seems to get smoother all the time. Very pleased overall.

I was fortunate to have worked with Leo, who helped me from the first call to confirm that I was getting the best option for my situation - either rebuild or buy a replacement transmission. He followed up through each stage of the process from purchase to shipping, installation and core re-imbursement. When I had installation questions, Leo connected me with Gilbert, who freely shared his technical expertise and guidance until completed. The attention to service after the purchase was awesome! The transmission I purchased fit properly and works great too! Leo and Gilbert have worked as a team with me and went far beyond my expectations, making sure I was completely satisfied. I own a 1982 Porsche 911sc with 287,000 miles. I take great pride in my 38 year old classic Porsche. A good friend recommended Vertex Automotive in Florida. I live in Virginia and had never heard of Vertex but I am so pleased with their uber professional Service Parts department. I spoke with Sid in the Parts department and he agreed to rebuild my original (no longer produced) 1982 French Bosch Warm Up Regulator (WUR). The Bosch WUR controls the Porsche restart cycles and is critical to smooth operation. You can see by the pics that my WUR was in bad shape. The rebuild WUR is stunning and has completely new internal parts. Vertex even supplied a few extra parts. The whole job was very reasonable priced and I truly appreciate efforts. I've been going to these guys for years. The collection quoted me about $7k on a job that vertex did for about $3,500. Wayne is a great asset to the vertex team. Well done guys. They have a passion for Porsche.
