the room we stayed in was infested with bugs. it was unbearable. they were climbing on the walls. all over the bed. all over the chairs. on the floor. everywhere. i let the front desk know and we were moved to a different room immediately, however i did see a few bugs in the new room. would recommend staying somewhere else. front desk staff were nice tho.

Renovated, comfortable, clean and secure room with a digital code at the door.
The exterior is pretty with colors and paintings, however there is a lack of cleaning of the tables, chairs and sofas... which unfortunately prevents us from fully enjoying this beautiful space.

We paid for a extra day not needing it after all we left at the right time. And I was told I will be emailed a receipt and the refund for the next day never got either of them the manager never called me back I told the girl on the phone Nancy that everything was on video and audio recording in the office and I never got anything they stole $120 from me and my husband we had to leave to evacuate for Hurricane Milton and they screwed us over and took our money DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Worst experience I've ever had in a hotel in the USA, the room has a strong smell of cleaning product, completely impossible to stay in the room. I tried to reason with the employees but they said there was nothing they could do. I asked for a refund and they denied me, I paid for two nights and didn't use any! RUN from this Hotel.

I couldn't stay. It is a very well maintained old hotel. Eccentric, beautiful and fun decoration. Free parking and well located in the city. The negative point is what we can't see in the photos: smell and sound. They use a lot of cleaning products and it was impossible to stay in the room, imagine spending the night? Our eyes burned. And I don't have allergies, imagine who does. Regarding the sound, our room did not have good sound insulation and we could hear everything outside.

Hip place to stay. We stayed there for three nights and you won't hear any complaints. Rooms were neat and nicely decorated. a cup of coffee with a bagel in the morning. Bus that stops in front of the door. Friendly staff. Top.

Im so happy I found this hidden gem ? Jocasta and Kobe are both so sweet and helpful with whatever you need❤️ You can really tell they genuinely care! The rooms are so cute and very clean too! The art is absolutely amazing, Julia and Camilo are so talented!! The care and love that goes into this place does not go unnoticed, It’s a beautiful oasis and I can’t wait to come back! Oh and the best part is that there are two sweet kittys who live there too ??Walkability: Super central and you can rent bikes across the street!! Super fun

The staff, Jocasta and Koby, were so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Jocasta had great tips for dining and activities, based on our interests. Koby checked into a slightly extended check out due to unforeseen circumstances and the cleaning staff was also very accommodating and helpful. The location is really convenient and we loved the upscale coffee place 1 block away as well as an award winning Neapolitan pizza restaurant and an excellent Peruvian ceviche restaurant closer than a block away! Many other reviewers have mentioned the extensive garden/zen space in the back, which we thoroughly enjoyed and relaxed in. We’ll be back!

I found this hotel while on business in Miami. Now that I have relocated to Miami, I still frequent this hotel when needing some time and relaxation. Great rooms, great pool, and the outdoor patio and bar area are out of this world. Finally, if you have the chance to meet Koby at the front desk you are in luck! Amazing hospitality, attitude, and dedication to customer service. He will definitely be climbing the corporate ladder very quickly in the hotel industry! Great place to stay - You will not be disappointed!!!

I find the place to be clean, nice, tidy and has everything you need for a good stay. The only thing is the neighborhood at night, it looks a little rough but the rest is fine.

Kudos to Koby for his enthusiasm and helpfulness. A definite asset to this hotel. I have zero problems with this hotel. My one suggestion to anyone patronizing this hotel is to bring earplugs as the trains nearby blast their horns at all hours. I was visiting my mom in a nearby hospital and the location was ideal.

New Yorker is not a bad hotel to stay at. It’s a little small and a little out of the way, but was overall a good experience. The pool was kept nice, the rooms looked recently remodeled, and housekeeping comes daily. There were no “do not disturb” signs so housekeeping would knock on the door but that isn’t too terrible.Nearby activities: There are several nearby restaurants and a Starbucks within walking distance.

This place is an absolute gem. The 50’s style Hotel, the courtyard area with the bar, the pool…. Everything. The room was super clean, and the staff was friendly. Area is good too, close to South Beach, Wynwood, and Downtown Miami.
