Wonderful homestead , built to withstand hurricanes, on original parcel of land owned by a spectacular sailor and pioneer!! Well worth a visit!

Sympathique, mais ne mérite pas un détour pour ça. La partie avant la boîte de paiement est en fait l'ensemble de la partie "forêt" du parc.

We recently attended a Jimmy Buffet tribute by the Tall Boys. It was fantastic!I would recommend for future venues, placing the stage towards the bottom of the hill instead of up by the main house.I think the view is much nicer and would provide a natural stadium seating for the event. The staff was very friendly. Overall, it was a great evening.

I love this place. It's so quiet. It has many squirrels for all over the place. There is tranquility. It's incredible how such a quiet place can be immersed in such a hectic city. It has armchairs in the back portal that allow you to rest and enjoy a wonderful view.

The Barnacle Historic State Park is an absolute gem! The serene atmosphere and lush surroundings make it an incredibly relaxing destination. I appreciate that they are pet-friendly, allowing me to enjoy the tranquility with my furry friend. The well-maintained trails and historic charm create a unique experience. Whether you're seeking a peaceful stroll or a bit of history, this park has it all. It's a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and pet-welcoming outdoor retreat.

Nice little place to get away from the snoot snoot areas nearby to see a cool house...a good view of the bay and to just chill for a sec.

Although the park ticket is only $2, they do charge another $3 for a tour to get into the house. And there are only 4 tours each day while the latest is 2:30pm. So anyone arriving later than that would have to give up the chance to visit the house, which is a regret for me because I really wanted to see the inside. The park is beautiful with many trees and ocean view at the end. But it’s not big and takes no more than 10mins to visit.
