"I am extremely upset and bothered by Surabaya's customer service. We purchased our dining room set and sideboard back in June, with the promise of both pieces arriving by mid-September, which did not happen. The table finally arrived in October. However, upon inspection, I was informed that the sideboard had also arrived. Despite my insistence that it wasn't the size I purchased, Stephan, who was assisting me, faced challenges in clarifying this with Paris. There were disagreements over the phone, leading to confusion.After a series of delays and unmet promises, we were assured the items would arrive in November. Yet here we are on December 8, still without the correct sideboard. Despite being told we wouldn't have to pay shipping twice, that turned out to be untrue. Had I known, I wouldn't have agreed to the delivery of the dining table separately. Consequently, I haven't used the dining table due to waiting for the entire dining room set. Moreover, I am aware that my cousin made several purchases from your store, and when a similar issue arose, Surabaya covered the shipping costs for her. It appears, however, that not all customers are treated equally in these situations.Due to Surabaya's poor communication, we're now forced to personally pick up the sideboard tomorrow morning. We've been loyal customers, but this experience has been disappointing. This will be the first and last time I make a purchase from Surabaya. I cannot recommend this store to others due to the unprofessional behavior of Paris, the lack of responsiveness when calling the store, and the contradictory instructions given regarding contacting her directly.It's frustrating to endure delays beyond what was promised and then be charged twice for delivery, especially for something that wasn't my fault and was beyond my control. Your lack of communication and customer service has been highly unsatisfactory.

Had an amazing experience and made a fabulous purchase!! Paul the owner was absolutely incredible, helpful, honest and seamless with the whole process. After moving into a new place its been quite difficult to deal with furniture stores and there employees but with this store I did not have that problem at all. I was able to get a one of a kind coffee table at a fantastic price! Overall super happy and would revisit and recommend to everyone!

We happened upon Surabaya and were so impressed with the quality of the furniture, we pre-ordered two outdoor couches from just a picture on a cell phone. Paris was so wonderful to work with as we anxiously awaited our couches. She also helped arrange a reasonably priced delivery. They are here now and absolutely beautiful - and very sturdy, great quality, just like everything else at Surabaya! Their stuff is the real deal.

I have been a customer of Paul and Paris for about 5 years or so. I can't believe how fortunate I have been to have met this father and daughter duo. Their knowledge and connection to the Indonesian culture has made me a lover of a culture steeped deep in a nature and harmony with it's people.I truly love the stunning works of art they bring into their store. I have purchased at least 8 beautiful pieces from them over the years and will continueto decorate my house and backyard with their exotic and breath taking works of art.

I ordered three pieces including a custom media cabinet. Two came immediately but the custom order I was informed at time of order placement would be in a container that would not arrive till 5-6 months. I've read the reviews below about delays and did experience an additional delay in the last piece. Yet, the store provided regular updates about it when requested and were friendly and helpful at all times. The custom piece was perfect when arrived, exact measurements, details in design, color, etc. It was worth the wait! I highly recommend Surabaya. They'll get it right and have great quality furniture.

I contacted them this morning and they were SUPER quick to respond and to engage me in conversation. They offered to meet me at their store and when I got there I was greeted by they nicest young man named Juan and he was both informative and willing to show me other pieces as well as answer the million questions I had. Superb customer service from inquiry to delivery! The piece I purchased is not only absolutely beautiful but of the outmost quality and uniqueness, which is VERY important to me and my husband. He was in love with it all! I am so very pleased with my experience and so happy to support a locally owned business with over two decades successfully serving the South Florida community!!
