Stay away from this location at all costs!! Just had to walk out of this store due to the treatment by one of the employees. My husband has his hair cut here, and I wanted to get my hair blow dried, so I asked him to make me an appointment.
When we arrived the people were very nice and we only waited a short time. The problem began when I said I only wanted to wash and blow dry my hair. To begin, the lady assigned seemed surprised that I wanted my hair washed before dried! I am still not sure what the alternative would be; how do you dry hair that has not been washed? The lady asked me to let my hair down so that she could determine the price. This was strange to me as I have my hair blow dried often at a blow bar, and my hair length is never a determining factor in a price.
The lady looked toward another employee (manager?) who immediately said $60. Never have I paid $60 for a simple blow dry! I stated that it seemed a bit excessive as I've had my hair done at blow bars and actual hair salons and always pay less than that. The manager lady was extremely dismissive of me, looked away, and said that's what it costs here. She then proceeded to say that my hair is considered extra long (it barely reaches my bra line).
I am not sure if this lady is just naturally rude and didn't want to do the blow dry (the place closed at 5 and my appointment was for 4:30) or if that is truly the price for a blow dry at Supercuts. Either way, be warned. The other employees were nice but seemed uncomfortable by her mistreatment of a client. Also, $60 is about $15-20 more than I have ever paid for a simple blow dry. Two stars because the other employees were nice.
