I give it two stars because of the salesperson. I went into the store looking for running shoes for my toddler who recently started running more than walking. When we went into the store, my son was wearing his stride rite shoes. I explained to the lady that he is recently falling a lot and sometimes it seems like he is tripping over his own shoes since they were for recent walkers. She measured him and said stride rite were the best for toddlers and the ones he had on were for running (I know the shoes were for recent walkers because that’s why I bought them). I told her I would like to see other options and she was reluctant. I looked around and she came back and said “maybe your son is just clumsy.”Now I know that my son may just be learning to run but her comment was unpleasant and uncalled for. She could just helped me by giving me options for running shoes. Needless to say, I left quickly since she was being very off putting.Other than that, the store seems to have a lot of variety of shoes for both boys and girls and that’s why I gave it at least two stars.

I've been coming here since my oldest son was a baby and he's nine now. Customer service is top notch. That's why I travel 30 minutes to go there and buy shoes.

The store is nice; however very poor customer service . They think twice to get you a shoe size and instead of been happy if you buy 2 pairs they look at you like saying don't bother no more. I spend 300 dollars in shoes and really I almost leave them because of the way they treat you.

The store has very cute stuff but the lack of consideration for opening hours is insane. I don't come often but the last two times I came I had to wait the first time 15 min for them to open and today it is 11:25 and still no one is here. Store hours are 11-6. This is a shame because the store does carry really cute stuff but this lack of consideration for others time is insane !!

Best store! I’m so glad I found this spot!! Great customer service, everyone is very helpful! Owner has been there for 23 years and know how to fit my child’s shoe perfectly!

Really bad service. I bought a pair of shoes on Saturday I tried to return them two days later and the owner of the store told me I could not do it. That was the store policy. I was never told about this ridiculous policy. I think they are really desperate to earn money because Covid 19 lockdown. But this is an abuse to the consumer.

Original I felt like I had found the right place to shop for my 2 girls. They have the cutest things and somewhat trendy clothing. Has lots of cute girly items. I bought two rompers for my girls without them physically present. Big mistake! They did not like them. When I purchased I was told no returns only exchange policy. I was in town visiting family and realized that neither of my kids could fit into the shoes we had brought. My sons are 3 and 4 and have extra wide feet. We went to stride rite at dade land and the store had shutdown. I called this shop and they suggested a few brands that might work. I went over and they were great with my son that has autism, and we bought a bunch of shoes. They introduced me to brands I wouldn’t have tried otherwise and customer service was great.

I just recently became an aunt and this place has transformed my little niece into cuteness overload! Such an amazing staff. They helped me pick out just the right things from just a picture I showed them of her! The exchange policy is tough but it is so worth it for the tranquil environment and helpful people I came across. I will definitely be back!

I absolutely love Step by Step! Their customer service skills are exceptional. The girls were so helpful and the owner is so sweet. My little sister's birthday is coming up and they were very helpful and had patience with the different outfits and shoes we were trying on. I will continue to shop here and will reccomend to friends. Great service
