We went in today to look around the jewelry district to look for rings. We were planning on looking around but ended up buying here (the first place we looked). Olivia was so helpful and really made looking for an engagement ring so easy!!

So I took my necklace to get fixed because I was wearing it and the clasp broke. They asked me if I wanted them to dip it in yellow gold but I said not to. When I picked my necklace up it was this really ugly yellow gold and now it looks horrible. I didn't even tell them to dip it! Then they asked for $50 for it! Also I think they switched my necklace out for a cheap version of the necklace because it doesn't look like my necklace and when I brought it to the store the woman thought it was a van cleef and kept complementing it and trying it on and said she loved van cleef necklaces. Who tries on a customers necklace? The one they gave me is light and feels cheap mine was heavier. Then it took them three weeks to fix the necklace they kept giving me excuses why it wasn't ready. Just the clasp broke it should of taken an hour to fix. When I called a week later the woman who answered spoke mostly Spanish so she said the owner wi call me back. After a few days the owner never called me so I called again and the same thing happened. I never got a call! I finally went into the store and they said the necklace is at the shop and won't be ready for another week (this is 3 weeks after I dropped it off). When I finally picked up the necklace and looked at it I told the woman I wasn't happy, it looks cheap and ugly and she yelled at me get out of my store! Shut your mouth stop talking! Turn around and walk out! There's the door u cheap woman! This is what you wanted! U wanted not to pay fine don't pay just leave! I tried saying I would pay for it and I never said I wouldn't I just don't want to pay for something I'm not happy with. I said I will never come back and she said good if don't ever want to see your face It's the jewelry store across from AT&T and Tcby. It's up the three steps next to the tapas. Spread the word not to Go here,Sowinski jewelers.

Nice little shop in Mary Brickell village. Owner and staff is helpful. They have mostly costume jewelry, nice tasteful stuff. Great for a gift for your lady without breaking the bank.
