I wanted to alert you to our recent experience with Santander. Despite paying off our business loan early, they added an unexpected termination fee and after all, they called us asking an additional $195 to release the title. This practice is unfair and warrants caution when dealing with Santander.

Do not associate with this bank. They take advantage of the elderly and ruin their credit.
My mother responded to a mailer of theirs for a loan.
She has excellent credit and was approved immediately. They sent her the agreement to sign. She noticed they did not write her address or phone correctly, despite her telling the Bank her correct information.
Banco Santander, despite claiming to be releasing the funds into her account- then said they could not fix the error and it had to go through a process.
My mother followed up daily- the Bank then falsely stated she cancelled the loan. They also without her permission reran her credit for a new loan she did not approve, and she was denied for them having ran her credit more than once a week.
This bank destroyed her ability to get a loan after they approved her because they could not type in an address or phone number correctly.
Do not transact with Banco Santander.
Do not trust a single word their employees: Lisa, Marlene, Mark Lebow, Stephanie, Kary, Johana, or Jake or whoever they have give you a runaround-say.
Do not trust a word from their marketing materials, unless you want to be tricked into sending them your information to block you from getting a loan.
This Bank is full of incompetent liars. Do business elsewhere.

Went in there wanting to open a bank account the girls weren’t doing anything and they said I need an appointment I asked them if they can take me since there’s nobody waiting and simply they said no it’s crazy they’re just to sit around and look pretty but nothing else

Don't do it NEVER use Santander. I don't care what they offer. Customer service really really bad. They don't have any branches offices so anything happens which it does and they make it happen you have to go into a branch.

I have a personal loan that I got online and in order to get my account number I need to walk in a branch. I’m in Texas and the closest is Florida! I don’t recommend and when you call customer service they are rude and have no willingness to help.
